just played it. it's not your every day noob friendly fps game(bf3,mw3,tf2,cs). you actually need to put some effort into this game to be decent at it.
you need to learn the huge map to be able to move fast and maneuver running enemies. you also need really good predict aim. its not point and click.
the skill gap will be huge for this game but overall it is very satisfying and enjoyable as compared to the current fps games out there.
hope to see some good amount of players from the asian region.
Download game from 6AM, complete around 4PM(10 hours).
Play game, cannot see mouse. Say must validate and repair.
I validate, repair, 6 hours only 40% complete. My father accidentally turn off modem, have to restart all over again.
Use up so much bandwidth, can't even load a decent 20 sec video clip. Already gian for tf2, one day never play, now still got about 6 hours more before probably finish repairing.
The game better be challenging.
Also, are there SEA servers or do you guys play in the American servers?
These servers will likely be underpopulated until we more widely announce their presence and market in these regions, but we want to test the server infrastructure themselves.
If you live in these markets, please help us test the servers. You can change region in the Play Now menu.
Note that the Asia servers are currently in Tokyo. We are also pursuing server options in Singapore (either to replace or supplement the Tokyo servers).

I played in the Japan Server yesterday. I must say, this new Tribes : Ascend really does bring me back to Tribe Vengeance and Unreal Tournament 2004 era. Took me few hours to get used to before I can really frag people. Is a nice change of pace for FPS gaming from the usual MW3 and BF3
Hey guys, anyone still playing this regularly? I've been playing the Australian servers coz the asian servers have not many players inside (well maybe I play at the wrong time) would love to add any of you here
