you mean the newest update stock 2.3.6? or custom rom?

if previous stock or custom rom sure can easily get rooted.

did you success root your note after update?

if already updating though kies, mobile odin pro wont work right since it need root permissions.
still have any alternate methods?

use pc odin flash back 2.3.5? will it increase binary counter?

did not increase binary counter, but the Samsung Galaxy Note keeps track of the kind of kernel you are running (stock or custom) and how often you have flashed kernels for warranty purposes?

so the whole process is downgrade to KK1 using odin > root > upgrade to KL3 using mobile odin lite? any thing left behind? pls correct me if i am wrong

quite a lot of user are suffering from this problem, i think this is a software or gradient problem that have been mention before. if everybody are gonna to claim warranty because of this, i think samsung will

just my opinion, even the galaxy note is having some minor problem, but i still quite happy with it. since we should understand that nothing is perfect in the world. The most importantly is user are happy with it and feel that it worth the money that he spend. example, iphone 4s is having some problem such as yellowish screen but still a lot of people are going to buy it.
