1. root and install custom kernel/rom now will affect future upgrade to ICS?
2. or don't root, in the future after upgrade to ICS, are we risk of loosing the chance to root?

i watched in youtube video before, saw the video uploader use the USB dongle and have wireless keyboard and mouse function in galaxy note

yeah, i know it can detect current location. what about you are trying to figure out a coordinate, for example somewhere in the jungle has some nice scenery and no telephone network available, can you still reach to that coordinate?

I think people talk about the lag is when during wake up from deep sleep. Normally ot will lag from 1 to 3 seconds but after waking up it become smooth..

i just installed "mybackup" and do a backup before i try to attempt to update rom.

i find that when i back up the apps, there are a lot of APK files in this folder.
phone:\external_sd\rerware\MyBackup\AllAppsBackups\AppsMedia_2012_01_04\Apps

APK is like installer file to android phone similar to exe files to windows right?

if i copy and paste the APK to other friend's phone and install, can install or not?

what's your preferred method of flashing those custom roms?

1. CWM?
2. PC odin?
3. mobile odin?

or any other method that i'm not aware of?

before i bought my note, the S2 was rm 122 per month for easy payment plan.
me and 2 friends go and wanted to buy.. raised to rm 147 per month (include a rm 25 additional credit into your bills to deduct calls) we are like pissed.. then next week come out note so i get a note instead...

the price is available from digi store also i bought mine from digi store...

I downloaded rocket rom and flash with cwm after wipe cache and dalvik cache but I'm stuck at the rocket boot screen for 20 minutes. reboot or take out battery same.. What could possibly gone wrong?

found the one hand keyboard in latest rocket rom
but from my personal testing last night, using two hands to type with full keyboard is still the faster way.
