yeah. first time flash custom rom and tried v14..
this morning just started to use my phone.
i find that from cpu spy, looks like it only use deep sleep, 100mhz and 1400mhz more...
previously from my stock rom, i notice that mostly use deep sleep, 200mhz, mostly 500 and some 800, very less on 1400mhz..

i wonder will this waste more battery on the custom rom?

other than that.. smoothness.. from my personal opinion, it's just slightly faster than stock..

how is your personal experience on it?

Regarding the first page tips for saving battery life by deleting the battery stat file, is it same as resetting it in cwm recovery mode?

i encountered hang issue when i install smurf game...
other than that.. it's a smooth journey so far since 2nd of december.
no reboots, no hang.. some times is a bit lagging...
and once i have the screen color become in blue hue for a while.. never encounter it for the second time since then..

if your second hand comes with warranty then not scare lar..
if no warranty, then need to see the price worth or not...

strange... i install latest rocket rom and i'm getting 100% awake.

use other browser.. from my own experience, opera mobile can set it to desktop.
really cannot rely on single browser only because some other browser has their own strength..

i am on rocket rom v14 and i'm getting kernel wakelocks from "GPS"
i didn't on GPS...
there's not even map coming with v14 and i haven't install map on my note yet..

only whatsapp, facebook, air control lite (a very good game to play with s-pen), SBM, words free, swiftkey x, qr droid, translate, super manager, mobile odin, cpu spy, superuser, CWM, quick panel settings, betterbatterystats.. gfan market..

i find that my wifi is one or two bar only even though 5 meter apart..
unless put beside the wifi router...

did you do a full wipe in CWM recovery mode?
first time i install custom rom RR V14 i also get boot looping..
then i do full wipe and voila...

Ram usage:
Rocket rom v14 with Facebook, Internet explorer 600mb.
Exit all programs 300mb
Go back to main screen, and swiping through all home pages 470mb

Don't be concerned about the free ram as long as your note is smooth. Last time I upgrade my pc from 1gb to 4gb my pc ain't gaining more smoothness if running few programs and most of the time smartphone we won't open too many programs.

i have been able to transfer few mb APK files to my phone via blue-tooth from my PC (USB blue-tooth dongle)

and now i want to transfer a 300mb avi to my phone failed..

so i start to try to transfer 10mb, 20mb and find out that can trasnfer up to 60mb (or about there)

more than 60mb cannot transfer..

any one free to try this out?

could be due to my PC USB blue tooth dongle version old or could be phone's blue tooth limitation?
