Anyone here bought the phone from Celcom blue cube? They allow us to test the phone b4 we buy?

Just jumped over from using a SGS2 and besides the usual observations (not too many custom ROMs, slight lagginess etc), I noticed that the Note does not have the samsung premium account option. This is a little bit of a letdown as on my previous phone i could get emails from my Streamyx etc pushed to my phone, but now, the best i can do is to set intervals at 5 min, 10 min etc.

Best alternative now is to use some apps like Maildroid, which pushes it (not sure of battery drain..just installed). Even K9 does not seem to be able to push email, although I set it to IMAP.

Just curious as to why Samsung removed that option from the Note..battery saving purposes maybe?

You just reduce it manually . Launch setcpu. Select Voltages tab. Tap on any cpu speed and just either manullay type in the voltage value you wish or move the volume slider. It is easy

I got mine at Blue Cube Pavilion abt a month back. There was a test unit there for u to play with. When decided to get it, they brought up the box and let me test it while they did the registration stuff.

Sure it can charge the Note. Use either the 1000mA USB port. Unless you need it to charge your notebook too buying this to charge your Note is overkill. It cannot be used to charge the Tab as the USB port only 1000mA - you need 2000mA to charge the Tab
I suggest you consider Yoobao 11200mAH ( YB 642) which has 2 usb ports - 1A and 2A. It is about half the price and works very well charging the Tab and Note
I have also an Energizer XP4001 ( 4000mah) - it is more expensive ( 50 % more ) than my Yoobao 4800mah( YB602) but performs worse ; its battery drains off very fast, at least 50 % faster than the Yoobao 4800mAh considering its power is only 800mAH less

got my white SGN 3 days ago....what a great phone it is!
but did u guys notice that the 'in-call volume' is a bit slow?
indoor works great but when you're calling outdoor, you can barely hear the voice.
any way to solve this? TQ.

No reduce it by 100 or 150 or even 200 not change to 150. Eg 1450 change to 1300
Experiment yourself reducing by 100 is safe

i tried setcpu, then after that when booting, whole phone lagging, stuck at scan usb storage..luckily able to uninstall the setcpu app then phone back to normal. just in case if the phone hang or stuck when reboot, anyway to uninstall the setcpu or remove the setting from setcpu?
