last time I tried the leaked 4.0.4, most of the things are slightly faster than 4.0.3. 2 major differences are browser improvements, less white tiles during scrolling and android os doesn't consume as much power in the battery usage log.

yeah .. stock browser kinda sucks compared to chrome. But chrome doesn't scroll as nice as stock browser under best conditions.
so now, i'm using Opera Mini Next browser, less function compared to stock/chrome browser but scroll like butter  |

if u know how, u can always Replace stock launcher with any other launcher so that you only have 1 launcher, no space wasted.
but i guess you prefer stock launcher for your own reason, this is what i like about android ... choices ! theres no right or wrong, just choices  |

yeah, my friends nexus S receive 4.0.4 OTA last night about 7pm too. Its a minor update, so don't expect big changes. Most of it are subtle improvements mainly on browser and UI smoothness

its the updated version of ICS for Nexus S for stock ROM users. Nothing is bugfree
OTA upgrade should not erase anything u have now. Everything should be intact as before you upgraded But of course you can backup as a precaution ... |
