Read from xda that the L is just for Australia, its just a small change, that when there's no sim card in the phone, it will still display this "Emergency Call Only" message when the screen is locked.

I flashed the L, but notice no change from E, waiting for 4.1.2 now. smile.gif

Think I am going to flash tonight. smile.gif

Added on October 16, 2012, 10:33 amThe OTA is already out.

Realise that there's this new settings called Automatic Timezone in the Date and Time settings, is it new in JB or only 4.1.2?

Seems like they fixed those paid wallpaper and paid widget not appearing upon reboot issue also.

Did you try the 1970 trick?

1. Settings -> Manage Apps
2. All
3. find Google Services Framework, kill it and clear data
4. Settings -> About Phone -> System Updates
5. the date should show 1970, then click Check
6. you need to be on WIFI also for this to work I think.

The only notable difference is that the Paid Widgets and Wallpapers don't get removed after reboot.

Cool.

Don't know if its placebo effect or not, somehow I feel like the battery life improved. The Galaxy Nexus guys seems to feel it also:

Chances are we will since this is still JB and there's not much difference between 4.1 and 4.1 smile.gif

Looking at the changes, we should be getting it, surprised that there's no mention of project roadrunner though.

I have bricked my Nexus S yesterday after updating to 4.1.2 I was on AOKP rom and flash back to original rom. Received a notification about software update and start updating OTA. Was not happy with the 4.1.2, root the phone and restore the backup of AOKP ROM....................stuck with the unicorn animation for 4 hours, pull out the battery. Re-install the battery and still fail to recover and now the screen went blank, the power and volume up is not responding and no vibration mode at all. seeking help icon_question.gif Have tried using Odin, Kies, Sabra Root Tool and Others but failed. Have read about Adam Cutler Unbrickable toolkit but noobies in LINUX or unbuttu.
