Guys, I saw an original Case Mate Nexus S casing at Low Yat Plaza yesterday and it cost RM80. So I went online and look for a better deal...But I found out the Case Mate's website quoted the followings

"This case is recommended for the Samsung GT-19020 with AMOLED screen; not recommended for GT-19023 (U.S. Version)."

This makes me wonder, what is the differences? I am thinking of buying the case later..now I am hesitating as mine is an I9023.

Guys, I got problem with my Nexus S recovery...wonder if anyone could give some advise on this....

I rooted my phone last nite and flashed recovery...I tried both CWM and TWRP...it was okay for then first time when I flashed it...but when I tried to get back into recovery...its doesnt work...it shows me an image of the android with a red exclamation sign...

I am on ICS and I think it's the same...Thanks for the information...I just found the solution on XDA, just like you say...I will need to delete the install-recovery script..before I boot into stock ICS rom for the custom recovery to stick...

Stock recovery fix? Which mean they are going to fix the broken stock recovery... Btw, I am just curious if I flash the stock ROM will it flash the recovery as well? And is there a way for me to flash back to from any custom recovery to stock recovery?

Guys...I am currently on Pixel ROM and wonders if I could flash back to stock ICS and use Air Kernel with it.. Anyone tried this before?

Just dont know why I like stock ICS better..

hmmm...if its back to stock recovery, then I guess I will need to flash cwm and then flash air kernel...will try and see the outcome...

I do agree to certain xtend...hopefully can get G.Nexus soon..but I am keeping my Nexus S..

Same here..I am waiting for the rumour of Nexus Tablet to be true. Hopefully Asus is going to do it. I do own a Tab10.1 but it's no where near the thrill of pure Vanilla android.

Btw, I want to keep my NS and wait for another month or two to get a SME GNex set.

Any noticeable improvement? Just curious... I am on Rooted Stock 4.0.3..will flash it in a while..

Updated to 4.0.4. UI seems smoother on stock now..but still not perfect..still looks abit laggy when going back to home screen from app drawer.

The rest seems fine...not sure on batt usage yet. And yupes...recovery is broken after update...will need to re-flash CWM...

guys...i am having trouble flashing CWM touch after I updated to 4.0.4...i am not sure what i did wrong...

i just install the drivers from the Android SDK coz I am using a PC that dont have the driver....but I could not flash the recovery image to my phone using Commant Prompt...Is it possible to advise what I did wrong?

yes...i am using this command...but it says that the partition on the recovery image is not matching...not sure whats wrong...

btw, i tried another option which is using fastboot boot command..it worked and i managed to get back to CWM...from there i updated a script to keep the recovery image in place...too bad it didnt work..when i boot back to my phone... and tried to get back to recovery its still broken..which means stock recovery image have over written the custom recovery image again...

I tried command prompt "fastboot flash xxxx.img" it could flash the recovery image...Then i tried "fastboot boot xxxx.img" yes it booted the recovery.img...but this is only for temporary. So I flashed a script that I downloaded from XDA while i am in the temp recovery. This script is supposed to make your recovery stick. But it didnt solve the problem as well.

I think a used one would be around RM600 - RM650.

bro, how is the performance...actually I am more keen on how JB will perform on my Nexus S than on my GNex. I hope that I will give me a more "WOW" factor! Where an older phone like Nexus S can be buttery smooth.
