I am planning to get a exora soon because of the space. I am torn between the Exe (Manual) and CVT. The difference is about 12k.

Looking at the budget I have (79k) I don't know any good justification to spend 12k to swtich to CVT.

Anyone mind to share his/her comment?

it's not just CVT... but engine CFE vs CPS as well,..n others... but I suggest you go for a test drive first to decide whether you needed the enhancement or not.. you're the best judge for what you need..

seems like most are getting circa 10 to 11 l/100km mileage.
guess it's normal lah then.

when for my 1st service liao.
not too happy about their SC at all. my 1st bill came close to RM200. it involves the usual oil change (3l of 0/30 and 1 l of 0/40). i ask why mix, they just claim that 0/30 oil does not come in 4l package and they do not have 1l package too. i ask them whether normal or not and safe or not, they say yes wor....
and also rm68 for magnatec which is suppose to clean the engine?
i think it's very expensive for 1st service. gulp!
and the buzzer sound i highlighted, they said it's normal also. wtf! it definitely does not sound normal to me.
but i give up since it's minor issue.
while driving these past few days, i decided to screw it, i drive more aggresively liao since the turbo is really satisfying to drive. anything below 90km/h is really no oomph as the bold brings me up to speed really really quick.
the other day i was driving back a 7 years old nissan sentra. feels completely no power lah.

I think for magnatec it wasn't needed... i read it in other cps forum, persona forum they don't recommend it, it just few SC sold it for increasing their own income as it wasnt recommended in the manual wink.gif .. for mixing the oil not sure they can do that or not...

there are some website stated the differences between 10W-30 and 10W-40 are when the engine hot the 10W-40 is thicker than 10w-30, but when cold no difference. so for turbo engine which is better?
