just below the air filter box.. got 1 hose go to the engine from the intercooler i think. now my car is at the sC to repair.. lucky my car is not too far for the sC.. terus hantar eventhough overheat sensor keep on buzzing (this is good, at least there are some function that is useful).. call my service advisor fren, komplen komplen, and he finally admitted there are some problems with exora bold that is "keep secret" to public.. ask him what are the other problems, he cannot answer, company policy.. one of them is this.. and the others,, u all maybe have faced it.. the sound after hitting hole, camera sumtimes got no picture, dammit.. why u no tell me earlier!!!.. . hmm.. but i'm satisfied with the car.. estima, alphard, wish, stream, cannot kejar me after reach 200km/h.. hahahahaha

Added on April 3, 2012, 12:59 aminstall ultra racing in your exora for better handling during corner.. hohoho.. front strut, front lower bar (4point) and rear lower is enough.. anti-roll bar too expensive.. huhuhu

LOL same cheap plastic hose used for turbocharged car?its prone to overheat thus furhter burning due to constant overheat!!!
FUNNY ...REALY FUNNY
hope proton management realized this & notify SC to change to more solid material!!!!!

Same here, just got the car yesterday and sometimes can smell like sumthing burning, but check engine temperature is normal at 5 bar, maybe because the brake pad quality?  hmm.gif
The issue about smell of petrol inside cabin after fill up i think is normal to all proton car, my neo also has this issue and until now no problem occur related to that  nod.gif

more like cost cutting engineer's fault

yes, that position exists in Proton. sleep.gif

the problem is are they gonna admit its due to low-grade plastic material that overheats then burned little by little in this bold?
& if they admit, how fast they gonna rectify to change to better plastic material(or even braided steel!)

turbocharged symptom always the same, its always overheat & overheat & u need better materials to combat that weakness,if someone talking bout changing design, then seems bullcrap to me

Added on April 5, 2012, 11:57 amshouldnt proton engineer look at pug 308 turbo or even golf GTI,what kind of materials being used as water hose?
I hope this problem will noticed by them & will be applied in preve

I dont mind to buy preve but if i see the same material being used with this bold, I will surely change the water hose myself to a better materials being used by those german turbocharged cars--to avoid future overheating(will avoid warranty?)

if they can't fix minor problem on exora bold then how they gonna fix the "Proton Preve" in the future?
*
it will be fixed based on cust feddback-just the costs will be major factor--i hv faith in that, just the fix will be in next batch

& not only prtn got this issues, even merc got

just read some awesome facts about merc e-class W211(2nd latest) which got lots of errors & issues during its first launch in 2003 & the 2nd variant of the same model was just launched at 2008 here(sharp front bumper with diff led lamp)

the 2nd variant of merc W211 supposedly to correct more 2000 "prblematic" items in the old variant

Added on April 19, 2012, 8:42 pmjust in ther merc case,it take a good 4years before merc finally released the updated variant

Added on April 19, 2012, 8:43 pmthats why need more feedback here,so that updated variant can be released at least next year
