QUOTE(dares @ May 30 2012, 03:03 PM) CVT is the gearbox. thanks broCPS and CFE refers to the engine. For the EB, only the CFE engine comes with the the CVT gearbox. So if it says CVT, then it is a CFE EB. http://www.mudah.my/Proton+EXORA+1+6+BOLD+...VE-14075686.htm this one is CFE engine? |

QUOTE(neo1point3 @ May 30 2012, 03:22 PM) If you can afford to buy the CFE which is Exora Bold Premium (RM 80K) or Exora Prime (RM 88K), by all mean please choose the CFE tx bro. you are right, the 6k is worth the upgradeThe CPS engine is not suitable for the Exora, and the 4AT auto transmission eat up most of the power. CVT is a transmission that have variable gear ratios, and CVT only comes with the CFE version. CPS only carry 5speed manual or 4speed AT Yes it worth the 6K upgrade Go test drive now just that those sellers in mudah make confusing claim until i don't know the price is for what spec |

QUOTE(neo1point3 @ May 30 2012, 05:09 PM) As we said just now...the CFE only for Exora Bold Premium(rm 80K) and Exora Prime(rm 88K) Called the sale.the price is for cfe but no insuranceIf it state other than prime or premium then it is cps. At the moment EB will not have great discount as the demand is high, the most if u lucky is RM2K but no free gift or anything..btw call him to confirm Most of the time mudah.my seller put low price to attract buyer, then only tell the truth on the phone If otr 78.5k |

QUOTE(Optiplex330 @ May 30 2012, 05:38 PM) Told you. Insurance is about RM1900. Add that up and you still ended up with RM80K thereabout. well, at least still lower than 80kIf you presently have insurance NCB, that can be transferred to the new car for some saving. Doesn't matter whether you buy from this guy or from Proton direct. |

QUOTE(DinKnight @ May 31 2012, 09:16 PM) proton pricing pdf for EB is here can you buy the car w/o the accessories?http://www.proton-edar.com.my/pdf/exora/EX...larMalaysia.pdf now, referring to the accessories package worth RM4,310... ACCESSORIES PACKAGE COIL MAT --> I hate proton's ugly coil mats, rather buy proper carpets myself and put in the car SAFETY KIT --> what is the safety kit? again, I can buy my own BOOT ORGANIZER --> come on now, I can live without this or buy my own NUMBER PLATE HOLDER --> seriously? the standard car doesn't come with a number plate holder? TINT FILM --> rather install my own tint DOOR VISOR --> don't need this MULTIPURPOSE CONTAINER --> again, I can buy my own NAVIGATOR --> this is the worst one, I rather use my existing garmin unit So, can I buy an EB CFE Premium Metallic for RM 73,425.00 + insurance premium RM2,277.00 = RM75.7k? I rather not get their accessories package lah. Added on May 31, 2012, 11:08 pmwant to know for the CFE version, how is the aircond? can the most back seater feel cool ? QUOTE(azlan83 @ Jun 2 2012, 06:09 PM) i order elegance brown colour...got it after 5 week...as i know the waiting list for EB now are about 2 month for current order Why must ask sa to confirm chassis and engine no?as the engine supply problem because of preve lauching. if your SA promise you 2 week... i do think so hahaha loan take about 3 days can approve...then wait for proton to allocate the car...if the car are ready ask you SA for engine and chasis no...confirm it by calling i care. then wait for logistic for delivery to SA around 2-3 days or maybe for week. thats my experience...hope help you... Added on June 2, 2012, 6:48 pmBtw warranty is how long? I heard forumer said 5 years.the sa said 3 years This post has been edited by brotan: Jun 2 2012, 06:48 PM |

QUOTE(karlbum @ Jun 3 2012, 02:12 AM) now i know first hand. because before this when going through karak and also grik.. never did experience that type of engine braking... (very strong) probably because the turns are tighter and u play with the brake more.. somebody told me engine braking is activated when it detects the gradient plus u use the brake.. u dont use then it will not activate .. Don't understand this engine brakingDoes it mean it will slow down the car without having press brake? |
