nissan sentra, 7 years old.
the aircond coldness from each air vent is different
the one from far left at passenger side is almost like hot air, then the other passenger one is warm. the only one with cold air is the left side driver air cond.

what is the possible issue ??

ai cond not cool on sunny day e.g noon.
but on rainy day or night cool.

already do full services and change compressor but still problem.
already confirm by mech no leaking on the system.
blower ok, condenser fan(share with radiator) also spin fast otherwise
i will get overheat.

what is the problem actually?

Hi bro, am driving 6 years old Kenari which never service the aircond before...now, the aircond still feel cold at night/rainy day but a bit warm during noon, then when i switch to the max which i can heard a very strong blower sound but the aircond 'wind' is not strong enough...lastly, when am stuck in traffic jam or never move for some time then the aircond will turn to warm.....so what is the advise for this matter & how much will need to spend on this?

  I am driving a 6 years ++ chevrolet optra 1.8, due to the noise which can be heard from inside carbin, like "kluk kluk", so I changed a new compressor, drier, and the condenser a year ago, but the noise still exist.

  The second problem is when I drive my car for around 30-45 minutes, the air cond will suddenly blow weak and I don't feel cold anymore.

I have Proton Wira Aeroback 1.5 SE 2005.

During daytime, my aircond is hot/warm while nite time the aircond is not so cool. What could be the problem?
2 weeks ago, I have refilled the gas but it remained cool for about few days only and I face the same old problem back again.

FYI, the fan is working. Could it be because of drier or cooling coil?

Today, I went to Syarikat Aksesori Kereta Sungai Wang (金河汽车冷气装饰)  and met Fei who liased with me through lowyat.net before that...

They are very, very professional such that Fei and her team checked the air cond system, explained to me on the problem specifically and let me know the price on paper.

Fei and her team did not push me to agree on the price or to take out the offer to repair the air cond . The price that they have offered to me are very reasonable for me. For RM333, they have rectified my air cond system.

They even furnished and equipped me with air cond system knowledge of which I did not know before this.

I would recommend lowyat members to check out on this shop.

Im driving a Saga BLM year 2008. Never serviced aircond before, just top up the gas at the last year. The aircond now not as cold as it used to be. Wondering can you check the aircond and how much do you usually charge for full service?

Went to the shop just now and would like to say that i'm satisfied with the work done on my aircond

I was happy that no parts needs replacement. Just cleaning and flushing the aircond system. Forgot to ask the older gentlemen for his name. His knowledge of aircond stuff was really helpful and he guided thru step by step what he has done. He even helped checked my engine oil level as he noticed my engine bay was covered in oil maybe due to leaking (will check this out at the service centre soon).

Overall, I would come back to this shop for any of my aircond needs as they will take the time to explain what needs to be done and provide excellent service. Thanks Fei

abit info of my aircon problem.
currently my aircon does not feel cold during noon or when driving on a hot sunny day.
need to rev my car and drive hard, a little cold air will come out.

when driving at night and rainy days, aircon is so cold eventhough set to minimum.

what is your opinion?

is it advisable to just service my aircon since i am on a tight budget?

Just serviced my 12 year old wira at this shop. Hot air blown when the car is idle and wasn't as cold as how wira should have.. just nice found this thread in the forum and cheelam gave me very prompt response.

The ladyboss, hee daughters and the sifu there are really friendly. Taught me a lot of Aircon knowledge which normally other workshops don't bother to do so. Replaced most of my antique parts :'( but there r at least 3 sifu were working on my car and can see their attitude and skillset are real serious. Actually replaced the compressor when they realized the compressor has noise.

I recently went and service my air cond because it wasn't cold. It was cold during the early mornings and late evenings, but hot during the afternoon (just fan, no air cond).

So i had it service because i think it's been a long time since my last service. The air cond guy told me that i have to clean the air filter (i think) and pump gas, and also there was some leakage at the cooling coil, and in order to save money for me (because i was doing other repairs to other parts too), he suggested to do 'welding'.

When i got back the car, it was night time hence the air cond was working. but after that, it was still hot, although cooler than before. About a month later, i sent the car back to the same workshop.

This time, another air cond guy (same workshop) came and said if cooling coil got problem, he will actually suggest to CHANGE the whole thing, instead of welding. Coz he checked the air cond gas and it was running low. He said there's only two problems. 1. The guy before didnt pump enough gas. 2. the cooling coil have to change.

This guy pump the air cond gas for me and the air cond was cold again. However, as I was driving home (25km) during the jam, I realize the car temperature is higher than normal, although still within the safe range. but it was never this high before. Can it be the cooling coil problem? Can this affect the car temperature?

My radiator is fine, i just cleaned/service the radiator, and seems like my compressor is working fine too.

I'm driving a old Toyota Camry, 1994 version. How much is it to change the cooling coil at your workshop?

I plan to have my wira air cond checked at your place this Saturday morning. What time your shop open? My car air cond started to give problem since august where it only blows warm air. To keep the story short, I've changed the new condenser,cooling coil,expension valve,drier,etc except compressor in 2 months time. But the problem still persist. Now fed up already and seek for the real expert assistance. Thanks.

normally if there is smell come out from air cond, what is the problem?

i add air con gas to my toyota SEG 3 months ago, now the air con is not cold already, i can smell air con gas sometimes, so there is gas leakage. please tell me the approximate budget to fix the problem?
