QUOTE(JollySheep @ Dec 17 2011, 08:37 PM) If change the WC position from this not valid idea. Bad idea. very bad.to this, very difficult and tedius? Btw, this is 1st floor toilet. My solution: » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « - Forget about double basin for a small place. - The more you wish to alter to your design eventually will just make it hard for the one using the space. - small space need proper thinking; area circulation is crucial also. - back wall piping also another consideration. I don't like the bathroom door directly facing the room door. Meaning see the bathroom door once enter the room. Thus, I change the bathroom door to the side. I think now I have to: - use wall hung basin - use bi-fold door or install a door to swing backward Added on December 17, 2011, 8:21 pm QUOTE(weikee @ Dec 17 2011, 06:10 PM) Everything is done, including tiles. 6' x 6' is not small if you only have one door. My 1st floor shared toilet was around that size when build, luck I notice it earlier and lengthen it to 9.5', else I will have the same headache.
Contractor especially the old school will always think is enough because they still think of old school style like wall sink, no shower screen. |

I guess the solution you are seeking are pretty deadlock. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « If the wall build are not structural then its okay; if it is, kind of hard. But since you did not see work out & base it on contractor idea; i guess there is cost incur if you want to do serious alteration. This post has been edited by KVReninem: Dec 18 2011, 12:17 AM |

QUOTE(JollySheep @ Dec 16 2011, 05:54 PM) I have 2 rooms with a shared bathroom. The bathroom is quite small. My contractor suggested two bi-fold doors for this bathroom. Why not try PD door ?I don't like bi-fold door. 2 bi-fold door, lagi i don't like. What if install a swing door which open the other way round? I mean swing out, instead of swing in the bathroom. Any advise/comment is welcomed. Thanks. [attachmentid=2589021][attachmentid=2589025] http://www.reliancemetal.com.my/door-pd.asp?c=5 |

QUOTE(mikessc @ Dec 18 2011, 12:36 AM) You sure that Reliance still has this? I had a talk with the Reliance installer (sifu level) around 3 months ago and he says that they discontinued this item. Main reason is that the levelling workmanship in many homes are not up to standard to accommodate this door type. |
