ours 1.8MT come with 16" but changeable.
Gear knob changeable
Console light is warm during night
Service fee reasonable,cheaper then honda civic!

conclusion....

u like MT...
and inspira MT is cheap enough to get it....

power is there,
comfort is there,
and the 1.8mt can smoke 2.0cvt

u find no reason to get 2.0, isn't....

Without clutch, is easy to kiss hilux ass...

chabutzzzzzzz....z.z.z..z.z.z..z.z.z..z.z.z.z..z.z.z.z.z.z.z.z.z.zzzzz.z.z..z.z.z.z.z.z.zzzz and chabutzzz.... again....

To answer your cons:

1. You can change to a Mitsu gear knob.... see K3nny...
2. U can change rims, adjustables, or simply add a spring buffer (RM80 in PJ), this will dramatically reduce the roll.... but then, what car are you comparing the roll with...?? Inspira is way better than sampan MyVi, and kinda loses to Waja (stock to stock comparison)...
3. Dash display is same as Lancer EX... no choice.... the wheel is the same as Mitsu LGT, only it has Proton logo.... u can change to a Mitsu Logo + airbag module for RM3K...
4. Again, what car are you comparing with, a MPV?? Inspira have plenty of space to put your stuff... door panels, center console, under arm rest, big(ish) glove compartment.... so showroom to see them spaces...
5. Normal oil change (oil, filters, labour) = RM300++.... and this is kinda same as Hondai and Toyoda SC....

Again, if the Proton logo is not for you, you CAN change all of them to the Mitsu logo, along with the parts... like bumper, spoilers, kits, steering and even the side windows to Mitsu.... or you can simply get a 2011 LGT with its colorful dash display and all real Mitsu parts....

1. MT gear knob u cn buy from k3 for better look..
2. stability at highspeed corner?add struct bar & spring buffer settle it..(mk sure u hv steel ball),1.8MT with 16" tyres, change to 18" if u wan better grip la..
3. console light onli ma, refer pip_X lala car for internal LED light..proton steering wheel?go hit n let da airbag come out n claim 3diamonds steering la..
4. u wan put a lot ham dai in compartment ar?
5; proton service is cheaper in malaysia..u gt 9k discount stil so cheapskate dun wan pay service fee meh?

LASTLY before u buy this car..do u mind other ppl call u CHEAPSKATE?? icon_rolleyes.gif

COME TT AND SEE THOSE THAT HAVE CHANGE THEIRS (damage - rm50 - rm150)
2. Not sure about stability of car during corners, high speeds (1.6MT comes with 16" tyres)
Corners a bit floaty, but minor issue that can be fixed with strut bars(RM150-Rm500) and spring buffer(rm80)
3. Console not looking very nice (dated orange color, terrible looking proton steering wheel)
Lights is not that bad,cuz it's warm and doesn't hurt the eyes, but if u want u can modded to other colours.
Steering u can change it to evo-x or lancers(rm700 - rm 4000)
4. Not many compartments to put things
HOW MANY COMPARTMENTS U NEED ? AND WHAT U WANNA KEEP ? but can change the armrest to double compartments.
5. Expensive service? - not sure about this, pls advise those that have serviced more than 5 times
AVERAGE ABOUT RM200 for the service ...so not too expensive, and if u have the free maintanence promotion...2 years /60k km no need worry....unless u wanna top up to FULLY synthetic oil

hi guys, would like to ask, is this part(black, i circled it) moveable/loose or is fixed? mine seems err wobbly at both side, means u can't take it out but it can slide/move around a bit. thanks

Yes.. it has lots of torque even on original ECU setting.. Just response a bit sluggish on original ecu setting
2. Size of car
Most passenger complain cannot reach driver side to lock the door .. so i would consider as HUGE .. comparing Vios and City
3. Comfort
Original its very comfortable .. but going higher speed 130 ++ .. u will feel floaty a bit .. minor mod like sturt bar and spoiler will helps a lot

look at my siggy .. got lancer sportback version gearknob .. or can change to better looking one depends on preferenace
2. Not sure about stability of car during corners, high speeds (1.8MT comes with 16" tyres) Its quite good at connering .. but the default setting is a bit woopy .. [color]
3. Console not looking very nice (dated orange color, terrible looking proton steering wheel) [color=red] 1.8 MT comes with carbon fiber look .. unlike 2.0

Double layer armrest will help on this
5. Expensive service? - not sure about this, pls advise those that have serviced more than 5 times
Normal service .. but it utilize 4.3 L engine oil .. thats why slightly more expensive due to the amount of engine oil

9K discount not free 2 years maintenance la....

Saving 9K from Proton, and 30K from Mitsu = RM39,000.... u kira how many service and how much fuel you can get out of that..... not to mention the amount of mods you can put in.....
