Got 15K discount meh? Proton staff izzit?

Problem is you can't test drive a 1.8 MT in the showroom. Showroom got 1.8 CVT only.

Its a fake ad in Mudah, when pressed for more info, the SA said price is NOT OTR... so when all added up, only 8-9K discount as per anywhere....

U better decide soon, as i think the offer may not be valid after CNY....

Don't think there is such a thing...max is about 9k, mostly get between 5-6.5k discount..if I recalled correctly

15k is just pure marketing gimmick by some SA..

TT lots of poisonous Good 1.8 MT to be test driven

Guess until now there's no constructive feedback of the 1.8MT. Basically its a class above wira, light clutch, rev happy engine, nice soft comfy dark fabric seats (stains can be easily covered except white stains ), boot space a bit small due to full size tires (change to space saver tire to claim back extra 3 inch depth). Relatively good NVH.

But be warned that there is loads of poison waiting for you... remap is a MUST have mod followed by many many too many others...

What's a remap?

CNY stil gt 1 month to go..no nd decide so fast de. give u 1 advise, if a SA say u must register tis month to enjoy 9k discount. then reject him, cz they sure delay ur car till nex month then say u not eligible for da 9k discount, mayb gv 8k onli..tis is wat my SA done to me...

I think GNR wanted to know more about engine, and performance.... but hey, GNR.... why dont you ASK what you wanna know, dont just ask a generic "how you feel about 1.8" type of open ended question...??

Reprogramming of the car's ECU to squeeze more juice outta it yet still maintaining good fc... This is the beauty of inspira.. as oppose to other makes which had to rely on piggy back ecu, throttle control n other stuff...

Change the stock ECU setting, to make your engine more powerful and efficient....

Stock ECu settings are more tuned to environmental friendly (aka better FC but shitty power and response).... remap the ECU for better AFR mix, earlier throttle and MIVEC timing response..... while keeping the FC as close to as stock (more efficient lor)....

I let K3 elaborate on this, his expertise....

Umm okk, well, I've been looking around for a full review on this car especially the manual version but there have only been a handful.

Somethings I like about the MT:

1. Power
2. Size of car
3. Comfort
4. All round disc brakes and ABS, EBD, air bags as well as ISOFIX
5. Very good specs for a manual car (look at Fiesta 1.4MT at 69K, so terrible specs, not to mention steel tyre rim with hub cap and no fog lights)

What I do not like or not sure about:

1. Terrible looking gear knob for MT (I really really hate the look of it)
2. Not sure about stability of car during corners, high speeds (1.6MT comes with 16" tyres)
3. Console not looking very nice (dated orange color, terrible looking proton steering wheel)
4. Not many compartments to put things
5. Expensive service? - not sure about this, pls advise those that have serviced more than 5 times

Any good suggestions where to get Eco x bumper and carbon fibre bonnet?

Need to find both around 3500
