Please clarify - what is the total hectarage of Bumitama? we need to look from the perspective of yield as well to make more meaningful comparison.

To me 51% area planted with trees of more than 21 years would mean the trees are at its peak in producing fruits. As i have said i'm more interested to look at the yield per hectare.....for comparo basis.

I have cleared all my 30k shares @ avg of RM5.36 from the public ballot.

For my MITI; 1 cleared but 1 lost in CDS transit (CIMBbank mah). Heard many of those with 30k MITI holdings still stuck as it is now. The no of investors affected that i know of around 25 pax...feel real sorry for them. Poor the innocent remisier kena tiao.

At the look of this game, i think the shares yet to find its bottom. As some earlier said, bad reps from foreign analysts equating the like of FB blah blah blah. BUT i think the counter will eventually rebound but the question is when and after hitting what price?

Called up CIMB, they said about 1000++ account affected. Reason given: cds acc is inactive or duplicate. Total BULL...

That is not acceptable. Those affected should gang up and intiate class action against them. Teach them a lesson. Any lawyer can share their standard of duty and responsibility?

Macquarie Securities started coverage of palm oil company Felda Global Ventures Holdings with an "underperform" rating and a target price of RM3.85 based on the firm’s unfavourable tree age and rising downstream competition.

Macquarie said in a note to clients that while local funds supported the stock’s debut on Thursday, research showed there could be a 27 percent downside to the share price.

Felda surged 20 percent in its trading debut as investors cheered on he world’s second largest IPO this year with share prices going as high as RM5.46.

Macquarie said Felda Global’s current fresh fruit bunch (FBB) yield is 15 percent lower than listed competitors with more than half of its estates at over 20 years old.

Increased competition from Indonesia and a reversal of abnormally high margins in 2011 may also weigh on profitability.

Shares in Felda Global fell 0.4 percent to RM5.28 on Friday, underperforming the broader market that inched higher. -- Reuters
