Episode 1 - 02/15/07: Homecoming & Episode 2: Akatsuki Makes Its Move

Having become Genin, Konohamaru's team is assigned to Ebisu and carrying out D-Rank missions. Konohamaru really doesn't want to do them, and his argumentativeness reminds Iruka of Naruto long ago. In the midst of all this, Jiraiya and Naruto return to Konoha from their training journey, Jiraiya bringing top-secret information stating that Akatsuki are beginning to make their move.

Episode 3 - 02/22/07: Results of the Training

Kakashi can sense Naruto and Sakura's development, and decides to use his Sharingan. Sakura, as a medical ninja, has also inherited Tsunade's killer techniques, and she and Naruto chase after Kakashi. Meanwhile, a member of Akatsuki, Deidara, begins to infiltrate the Sand Village.

Episode 4 - 03/01/07: Jinchuuriki of the Sand

Gaara discovers Deidara's infiltration and the two begin to battle, a fierce air battle with Deidara on a massive bird and Gaara on his sand. All the while, thanks to the machinations of Yuura, a member of the Sand Village who has become Akatsuki's subordinate, the village is thrown into chaos. Meanwhile, in Konoha, Naruto and Sakura's survival test continues. With dawn as their time limit, the two begin to make their strategy..
