You may want to look at this .... A 2 part crystal clear resin, slow hardening time (6 hours or more till solid), exothermic heat that may melt/deform some plastic... Hardern to very durable clear plastic... A Japanese product, 1:2 ratio mix..

Yes you can try to shape/work on it while it is still soft... at about 30 minutes in till 3 hours to 4 hours.. one of the application is making water/lake as advertised/shown in the instruction manual... not cheap though... RM100 to RM120 just for 300g... imported mine from Japan

You can pick out any impurities when it is still soft and the resin will reshape/smooth out ... as it has a long work/harderning time.. bubbles will be gone too...
