I'm suffering from eczema, for my case i found out it was due to a particular brand of shampoo plus some soaps that was causing this...basically my skin is sensitive due to strong chemicals.

Sorry i can't help with any treatments or remedies, maybe you could ask your friend to try to retrace the particular period of time when he/she got it together with any change of lifestyle. If need be try to stop a particular routine to see if it helps, time consuming yes since it took me about 2 years
