May I know where do you get this Daddy mee? Local brand? Cos instant noodles play a large part in my nutritional meals when I need a change from white rice. I usually eat 3 big packets of the Korean noodles cooked dry style with my chicken cooked separately but the noodles are expensive!

QUOTE(Winning11 @ Dec 12 2011, 02:01 AM) last time i got it free though. from their FB page, it seems that it originated from east m'sia. should be able to get it from jusco since they have those food tasting booth there. one unrelated question, instant noodles has as much carb as white rice, no? Thanks man. Will look out for it. Lol instant noodles have starchy high GI carbs, excellent for workout days. I can sapu close to 200 grams of carbs after gym so even 3 packets of Korean noodles not enough so I'll eat something sugary for dessert like chocolates or ice cream. Best part is te nutrients are labeled so it's so easy to count how much I need. Only had thing is the high sodium content which causes water retention but who cares I'm not competing at the moment. Lol. Added on December 12, 2011, 2:21 amQUOTE(Lzhiwei @ Dec 12 2011, 02:03 AM) i also got it free. how do you cook korean noodle dry? The only thing I add.in.the boiling water are the dried vegetables. After boiling with the noodles, I drain.it, put on a plate and sprinkle 1 quarter of the soup powder. And add some oyster sauce in for taste. This post has been edited by darklight79: Dec 12 2011, 02:21 AM

QUOTE(Winning11 @ Dec 12 2011, 02:31 AM) oh. and i was thinking of substituting rice with noodles as my doctor told me to reduce on rice intake better stop this heatlh talk in food tered, will do so in health tered. thanks for the info Lol no.worries. I'm a doctor and bodybuilder and I enjoy good food. Carbs are not evil, overdose of carbs are. Moderation bro. Don't eat 3-4 packets like I do. I need it. I first started loving Korean noodles dry style when I stayed at my dad's friend's house in Hong Kong. His Filipino maid cooked this brand called Doll noodles dry style with 2 slices of luncheon meat on.top.

QUOTE(rayng18 @ Dec 12 2011, 03:19 PM) That's the best from Korea so far. Had for the first time while in UK studying back in 1997 and since returning to Msia continue to buy but is getting more expensive used to buy like RM8++ per 5pkt now like selling at RM15++ in Tesco/Giant. Luckily found them much cheaper at RM10++ at chinese medical shop cum provision shop. I agree. Somehow I just prefer eating them dry style even though the powder is soup based. My dad would buy a whole box of them. If you're talking about soup based Maggi curry will always be my fav. QUOTE(Lzhiwei @ Dec 12 2011, 03:44 PM) There's make in china and make in korea. Make in china its rm10 for 5 make in korea its rm 15 to 16 for 5 I don't trust stuff from China. Do you?
