i like those spicy korean ramen, Shin ramyun and Pulmuone (a healthier alternative) are my favorites.
no matter what ramyun i cook, i must add 2 tbsp of gochujang (korean chili paste) to give the soup an extra kick, it makes the soup thicker and spicier. then i will add bakchoy and beef balls or tofu. Sometimes vegetarian balls with mushroom flavors, quite nice.
other than that, i like mi sedap, ina sambal noodle not bad. some i haven't tried, but i don't quite like maggi.

Whenever i cook korean ramyun i always add 2 tbsp of gochujang for that extra spicy and thick soup because gochujang has fermented glutinous rice. It really makes a huge difference if u opt out the gochujang.
Then, i underlay the soup with soaked korean seaweed. Sometimes i switch with bak choy.
When it comes to chewiness nothing can beat spicy kimchi ramyun by Pulmuone, not even samyang. Too bad jaya grocer not selling that brand anymore.
