may I ask few question:

1. keeping pair of gliders, will make the room busuk? rent room here..wonder can put in together in same room.

2. if I go back hometown, is there such thing as holiday food (for a week lets say??) or bring back to hometown but don't have a big cage in hometown..just keep in small bag?

Hi my glider has a funny dark spot on the ear and I want to bring her to dr jenny. I called the number on the first page of this thread but it says 'the number you've dialled is nt in our service'. Can anyone please tell me other ways I can reach dr jenny?

I have a urgent concern to look into. One of my female glider have a potential swollen eye and she refuse to let me hold her to do a closer inspection. If I need to send her to the vet, how am I going to handle her during the consultation? The bonding between me and the her isn't strong yet and I usually have to rely on the male glider to get her attention.

Current eye condition is that there is some white discharge beside her eye and slight swell at the bottom.

thanks emino. I bought Bugsy HPW Complete. (petshop recommend) 1 small spoon with 3 small spoon warm water..and even I sprinkle some hpw on the apples..he doesn't seems interested to eat lo..

1) yday I try some scrambler egg with some hpw and honey..not interested oso
2) Bugsy Premium diet pellet..not interested oso..
3) Ate 1 mealworm and few bite apple only..
4) gave him some honey, he licked few times only..(Brand) Nectaflor Acacia honey..( Can or not?)

Plan to get a pair... anyone can direct me to the correct source?

My baby glider that I just bought three days ago keeps crabbing at me.. Even when I wanna pass her some apples she just crabs non stop. How to make her calm? I know she's scared coz it's new environment and all. But I really wanna make her calm.

Even I put her inside my bonding pouch she can't stop crabbing. Should I continue putting in bonding pouch or let her sleep on her cage? Afraid she will be stressed

My sugar glider, Ted Remus Lupin aka Teddy had leave our world on the day of July 2nd. Teddy had been a great friend to me over the course of 6 years. It is like losing my own family.

Over the duration when I was with Teddy we had endure some major events together. We've survived 3 job changes, 2 major motorcycle accidents (and many minor ones) and heck, even a storm that blow over our roof, literally.

He was my friend. My very dear friend. And thank you for being my friend for the last 6 years.

R.I.P Teddy. I will miss you, always.

Just wondering..

1. Is it okay for me to just have one F sugar glider? Apart from it being lonely and stuffs, will it .. die of loneliness or something? Like hamsters, they need to be at least in a pair or they'll die easily ( that's what happened to my previous hamsters )

they will if u left them alone and no attention. gliders needs alot and i do MEAN A LOTS of attention.

2. Since sugar gliders eat sweet stuff, will their hands get sticky after eating? I mean as in, I'll let them roam around the room after eating and just afraid that my floor would get sticky as well after that and attract ants.

they do clean their paw after eating, but some of the gliders like to run around while eating though

3. As long as with fruits + vege + HPW are fine right? I've read some posts and I realized some are feeding them mealworms as treats. ( I'm scared of worms, sorry =x )

other treats works as well like yogurt drops. dried worms too

4. How smelly is the poo/pee? Is it as smelly as cat's ?

depends on the cleanliness of their cage and pouch.

First timer here and I'm deciding between hamster or this. One downside about hamster is the lifespan and looking forward to know more about sugar gliders! ( Still reading the posts )
