Actually I'm not new to CM, was using it for about 2 weeks just as I let gave my Desire to my sister. She is still using CM7.1 stable.

Hi guys, Ivan here. Just got my S2 yesterday, bought for 1899.
Wow the battery drained very very fast! Removed charger from phone around 9AM, till 12PM already dropped to <50%!! Just now left 3% only charge.

Anyway, glad to get a S2. Can i know about:
*Rooting > Safe or not?
*Custom ROM > Why?
*Flash > What's that?

Shopping on ebay for cases now...

What kernel your using? Abyss? Any UV and whats your freq range?
Also i dun see a need for setting additional sleep governor. If your device is functioning well it should be in deep sleep most of the time so it make no difference what governor or freq your using when in sleep.

Hi i am new user of G version. bought a month a go.. yesterday i accidentally fell that thing on the ground at the waist high... so nervous! and i check everything OK. but dunno the inside of the phone mean hardware.

i bought dozen of apps during android market promotion, the thing is, if something happen to my phone, maybe need to format,reset,or whatever term, how about the apps that i already bought and installed in the phone? is it just gone like that or there are any software that can backup all the paid software into SD card..

No way to verify such stuffs ? Why you are concerned ? If you have bought it with the box sealed and from SME - no need to worry about it. If you bought it and box already opened - than no way to verify whether batteries are already changed. There are plenty such fakes ( exactly as originalmbut if you look closely at the fonts size, print quality you can see the difference)  - can buy from EBay
BTW mine previously was Made in Japan/Finished in Korea - same as my present Galaxy Note

I bought the NOTE mainly for its bigger display ( which btw is also nicer ). Another bonus is the S-pen with its exceptional writing, sketching features which you cannot find elsewhere. The HTC Flyer stylus pen pales terribly compared with it
Overall the SGS II is a better performer - slightly more slick, faster and smoother. The difference is very slight. If one has never used a SGS II you will be amazed at the SGS Note performance.
Overall the Note battery life is way, way much better versus the SGS II , easily 4-5 hours more and is not so "hot" compared to the SGS II
Due to the higher resolution of the Note , so far all 3rd party launchers lag slightly. I kept the default TouchWiz as it is perfectly geared for the Note and no lag at all. All 3rd party launchers do not show any lag on the SGS II. I have tested Launcher Pro, ADW EX, GoLauncher, Zeam and Spb shell 3d ( i permanently use this on the SGS II) : all these launchers display slight lag ( which i do not like at all) on the NOTE

But not exactly corret. G is not capped at 1200Mhz. It can run at 1200Mhz when needed and the power saving feature is off.

On Android, no choice...only Papago can support local maps....if you want turn by turn Navigation. Too bad Googles Navigation not working here....

anyone have problem loading picture in the email ? my gmail and default email not showing picture

im using stock and gmail both oso cannot load the picture

Of course lar...see ur RAM also already know...u have tons of apps running in background?? Live WallPaper on?? Or power saving on? Turn it off lar!!!
