Look at your 2 & 3 photo, it is your contractor who causing it as it hacking the place which I guess is over it acutally near to pipe around.
Is the place original have any water tap?

For sure you been ask for high price lol, as for hacking the floor and look for hole should been done by your contractor, than the plumber work to get it fix which I believe not even need a day job.

Question: What the pipe lay on the floor for 2nd photo are for? is that new pipe and allocated to behind? If yes, should you pipe lay near and follow the way instead of laying like that?

Hi Jo-da48,

Me and the developer think the same. The developer told me that he can "touch the scar" caused by the contractor. But my contractor insist that it has nothing to do with him.
The original place got water tap, linked to sink. Then, they cut the pipe and connect it to new extended kitchen. As you can see, there is a T-connection. One direct to kitchen sink,
another branch to washing machine (corner). Can you further explain to me how the new pipe should lay?

Added on December 8, 2011, 12:15 amI personally feel that this is not sharing. They know what they have done. And they want to make me pay for their mistake.
Not only want me to pay for their mistake, parang me somemore... About the job to be carried out, they always tell me this
is going to be hard work! A lot of difficult tasks need to be carried out. Ya, because i'm seem to be a dummy to them, they
like to confuse me. sleep.gif

Personally it should be go more drill deeper to hide the pipes or follow the wall, as what if future you want to change all the tiles and the tiles folk didn't know, it will for sure hit your water pipes since it just lay below the tiles.
Except your contractor plan to put few inch high of cement for you...else you could imaging when you hack the tiles, the drill for sure will over short...

Added on December 8, 2011, 4:44 pmMe & contractor finally come to the agreement that I pay RM150 (he pay the balance) to settle the problem.
After 2nd thought, i don't want to further the argument and delay the subsequent works. Though, i know i might
be kena parang and i pay to correct their mistake, i just... "swallow it". Hope they can fix it asap. cry.gif

Jollysheep, when my contractor renovated my bathroom also got plumbing problem etc etc.
he didn't do nuts about it. I had to call "own plumber" to come fix it, all charged to me. he didn't bear a single cent.

he also said not his fault......

and after he finished his tiling works..and paid him..then use the toilet only realise..toilet can't flush lo, water won't flow out lor...etc etc

problems!! all fork out additional $$ sendiri fix
