I think RIM implemented this to prevent the battery from overcharging.

Not really sure about this though, someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Yes boss, most hybrid OS will make the battery last longer. But unfortunately I don't think there's any hybrids for 9790 yet.

Loose trackpad is quite common actually. I buy used phones all the time and 3/5 of them have loose trackpad. It's something you have to live with or use your DIY skills to fix it.

Squeaky 'Q' can be fixed by changing the keypad. Or just live with it, no big deal.

Yeah, maybe you should. But the build quality of the 9790 isn't really that great compared to the 9900 or older Bolds.
