Wow at last official thread for 9790 is opened! I'm proud owner of black 9790..
Seems .528 has been released. I just upgraded .496 this morning.. For those who having problem installing new OS, follow this step. 1) Uninstall everything related with BlackBerry on your pc. 2) Install BlackBerry Desktop Software version 7.0.0.32 beta download link 3) Install the new OS on your computer. 4) Delete vendor.xml (usually located at C:\Program Files(x86)\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader) 5) connect usb wit ur blackberry and run Loader.exe (located at previous folder) 6) wait till its done. finished! The blackberry desktop software version 7 part really helped me completing the process because the current desktop software usb driver and apploader seems having bug during accessing boot rom. |

QUOTE(vichew @ Dec 8 2011, 12:38 PM) battery life definitely better than 9900 but cannot compete 9780/9700although they both use same type of battery my prediction -> with heavy usage [heavy BBM/heavy Browse/heavy Youtube/heavy Call/heavy SMS/heavy e-mail/ heavySocial networking] - can last around 6 - 9 hours in 3G mode , 10- 12 hours in 2G mode.. with moderate usage, can last more than that.. but definitely cannot reach more than 1 day usage [9780/ 9700 can] |

QUOTE(vichew @ Dec 8 2011, 12:38 PM) can use.. but depend... which plan you mean...?if the data plan means to be BIS, then.. the data plan not applicable for any non bb phones[you will be charged] if you subscribe Digi Smart Plan RM 43 + RM 10[BIS], you can use the data plan which is 1GB[different from BIS plan though] IF you want to use the prepaid BIS plan -> you cannot use the data in other phone.... |
