Can't do much about the battery consumption, actually, other than switching to pure 2G all the time or investing in a larger capacity battery. The bold3 has a 1500mah battery compared to 1230mah on the 9790, and the bold3 has a much slower processor, less RAM, no touchscreen, poorer camera so one can't expect the 9790's battery life to be better..

i'll buy a high capacity battery this weekend.
everything is good with new blackberry, only, as I've mentioned, the battery.
I cannot be to live similar to an android user, need to bring everywhere their USB cable to charge. (and even some of them bringing the charger and extended battery)

Added on October 11, 2012, 10:06 ameh i found some high capacity battery in google.
either 1850 mAH or 2450 mAH.
Is bold 4 and bold 5 have same battery size?

Sunglobal offers battery with larger capacity to many smartphones but it's reliability should be not as good as the original battery there.

better you choose 9790 as it is a slight improvement / major fixes from 9900 issues, if i'm not mistaken.

actually it was quite handy when come to browse internet page.
While i guess most of the application, it may have difficulties to fully utilized the touch application.

Hi all 9790 user, nice to meet you all. i am new 9790 user. Glad to have this phone. May i check out from you guys how to sync google contact to this phone? Furthermore, i was tried to use enterprise activation to active my google mail (i don't have BIS), but couldn't make it. Anyone can help me out? Thanks in advance

Get the 9790 man. Battery life and auto focus is a must ! And it is lighter too. 9900 is honestly a big let down except for the nice big keyboard.

Or the best is a 9810

i find it difficult to update the OS from other countries.
need to remove the previous Os?
