Added on July 3, 2012, 3:54 amBy the way, for those who're interested, 12" Commander Fox from Sideshow is now available for pre-order. PO price US$124.99.

But it only comes with Phase I helmet and armour. And it only matches the previously released Cpt. Rex Phase I. The clean armour doesn't fit in with the rest of the Commanders from ROTS (Cody, Gree, Bly, Bacara and the upcoming Neyo) which feature(d) battle worn armours.

With the upcoming Neyo, I shall have all the Commanders. Except for Cpt. Rex. I shall wait for the eventual release of Rex in Phase 2 to match the movie Commanders. And I don't mind Wolffe too if SS decided to produce him.

Ya, didn't see Nom in retail. But Malgus did appear in retail. Apparently, very limited stock. Only Screemo could secure so many units

But yeah, FunkyMonkiBaby has a point. "Local distributor and their new marketing tactics...sien."

Toy specialty shops sell in sets. DEPENDING ON WHO YOU ARE, OF COURSE! Ya, sien.

Nice! Some of my favourite figures in my collection. Except for the Clone Trooper in training fatigues.

There's TWO different assortments for Nom Anor wave. So if u see two Nom but different individual figures, then it's possible that it's from these two assortments.

Same goes to Malgus. Two different waves, both with Malgus but different sets of characters.

Although some are reissued. Vader, Anakin, Aayla, etc.

Kavin stopped "collecting" when his shop Ultimate Toys in 1Utama closed down. His "collections" are from late 90s/early2000s to circa 2007/8/9, I think.

Well, I think they did. But Hasbro decides who gets which waves. Or who would "absorb" stuff like TF, MU, etc. People then go blame distribution when it's being "arranged" by Hasbro and other kingmakers.

But unlike Avengers, Spidey and TF, there's not been any new SW movies since the TCW feature film. (Okay, there's the 3D re-release of the PT and OT but yeah, not new) Furthermore, the live-action TV series is in production limbo. I know, there's the TCW animated series. And TF has the Prime series. But in terms of appeal to the mass market, TF, with the huge successes of the Bayverse films, has the extra advantage and more... kid-(and adult-)friendly.

In fact, even Hasbro is slowing down with the TCW line. But TF has Prime, RID, FOC, WOC, what-have-you.

Vintage will appeal to the longtime collectors and speculators. And TOR and FU players. But these people will not buy every Quin Gon, Droids, Sidious that're reissued so frequently. Furthermore, if shops require us to buy in sets (unless you're Screemo who gets to cherry-pick ).

And kids? Their parents would rather buy a TF than a SW figure. Despite all the BBs, there's a reason why TF stocks come in five cartons or more compared to SW, IF they do appear in retail, which normally come in one box (or two if Hasbro's in a good mood). Collectors and speculators will sapu the Vehicons and what-not. And the BBs will still get sold. When they're sold at a discount or during a sale or when stocks move to Tesco, etc.

SW? Well, all the recycled figures will pegwarm for years on end. Go to an outlet near you and see for yourself the amount of dust that's accummulated on these recycled stuff.
