QUOTE(infin @ Mar 16 2006, 01:20 AM) My default timings are 2.5-4-4-10 - but my tccd doesn't work at any speed other than 2-2-2-5 200mhz with my opty. No amount of tweaking vcore, vdimm, dividers or timings has helped, not a different bios and not even an Asus A8R. I used to be able to use the default 2.5-4-4-10 at 300mhz with a Venus. So I figure it must be an issue with my opty memory controller and/or my tccd because a pair of BH5's didn't have a problem going above 200. hey are u using the ultra d that u mention in ur sig??? if yes try to change slot ...try orange slot... hope it help! Guess it's time to go ram hunting. |

ninja really give some good result.... but its causing a pain when u installing it...the hardest cpu cooler installed ever....
i m still waiting for the result of scythe mine...dunno if it can beat tt bt... and i dun think chipset cooling will improve any oc as well.... the cooling of the proc is more important than that at least |

QUOTE(satanhead2003 @ Jun 21 2006, 07:32 PM) hmmm.... so... 1.38 + [1.38v x 0.1] = 1.52v is the max? Does this apply if using watercooling? just some info for u...dont ever trust the vcore settings in bios...its not accurate...the best is that u use digital multimeter to measure it...Btw, gsan, how is ur opty? any improvement after burn-in? |
