what do you call this type of 'awning'?



i'm looking at similar design for side of my house (approx 35ft-40ft length) and probably 2.5ft from the wall (e.g. 2.5ft x 40ft)

what is the rough cost estimate? i don't know what are the materials normally used, laminated glass, poly etc...

glass cheaper compared to the lexan poly?

Thanks for the info, got a couple of Q if u dun mind:
1) When u say clear, does it mean its as clear as glass?
2) Can the poly be used to replace a glass door?
I intend to install security film on glass door, is poly better in this sense? In terms of security?
3) If clear poly can be use as glass door, can i still add s layer of window film? The kind that reflects sunlight?
