You need to verify it Tempered + Tempered or Sometime they offer Tempered+Float Glass( Lower cost)
Also must get Warranty. Usually They Warrant 6 months.
Spontaneous breaking happen to Glass
You can use our Lexan* Sheet instead of Glass.
10 years Warranty Against Yellowing, Breaking( except from Screw Holes) & Loss of Light Transmission
Cost wise, we guess contractors would be the right person to advise.
With Lexan* 6 mm Exell D Solid Polycarbonate , the Weight is 25% of the Laminated Glass, therefore in theory, the cost may be par due to the structural ( steel) cost.
Available in Clear or Tinted Green(similar to glass tinted green)
