You using what oil...?? If semi syn S800 then its advisable to change it every 5K... heck, even Fully Syn oil is recommended to change at 5K, but 10K intervals is also ok for fully syn... 40K is not consider major, esp if you see that Proton mainly just gives you free brake oil, paper filter and radiator coolant..... you can make it major (damage to pocket) if u change gearbox oil..... |

Of course if u simply tune it ur engine will suffer la, thats why k3nny insist that for extreme one must bring ur car go dyno and adapt the tuning based on ur car...its like overclocking PC loh...
