At least your cursing on traffic jam is reduced because of them.Stop complaining nuisance on the biker.
Ride one then only you know.Sometimes the cager are lazy ass to give attention to them even when they are suppose to do so.
I got also fot my NSX/Z33/Viva side mirror hit by them but for me it just a small matter,& the important thing they do not lose balance after certain thing hit them.I know it cost quite a $$$ for some but atleast the cager should be grateful to had all the comfort that they never had.
I also a biker & I dont bullshit since today stupid MOFO(turks people...not a malaysian I supposed) are suddenly change direction even after my lane turned green & then I hitted them in high speed but luckily not sustain any fatal accident, but even it was their own fault, they still wanted to b****in around which made me want to report to policeman nearby.Only after that his wife confronted me & saying all the apologize which I accepted with some payment for me to repair my bike front end.

Added on December 6, 2011, 1:30 amYup,I was same side with MeToo...but still I do consider the biker that filtering through traffic jam as my main priority.
Because still no use to block them & creating much more standing time on traffic jam which I hate so much....
I don't mind people like you filtering through traffic, it's just the speed at which some do it. You constantly have to watch if there is someone coming from behind, while watching if someone is trying to cut into your lane, while watching for the one in front who might have to brake hard too (hell, even driving 180 on the Autobahn with medium traffic and everyone going a different speed is less stressful than stop and go in Malaysia).
And the same thing goes to the bikers, who also have to be very careful. So do it at reasonable speeds and nothing (hopefully) will happen. Not to you, not to the others. What's the rush? You'll get there eventually.
I'm not perfectly sure, but IIRC the other drivers that got past safely drove slower (still too fast) than the one who hit me. Couldn't even look for his number plate, didn't even really see him (and I was not moving).
Anyway, sorry to hear what happened to you. You didn't even get any compensation for the pain/injuries? Bikers have to be super careful because they are the weakest person on the road, especially since most don't wear good protective suits (expensive, uncomfortable, ...). Even if your helmet protects you during a crash you will be hurt badly. That's why I can't understand why some drive as they do. I won't get hurt if they crash into me, even if it's my fault (of course I try to avoid that, but sometimes you just don't see someone, or make a mistake, ...). It just costs me some money.
