Forumer you are complaining against: tashfinsheikh

Item being sold/bought: Streamyx BB 1.0Mbps Package

Original thread link: http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?act=ST&f=125&t=318869

Date of transaction: 23 Nov 2011

Details of the complaint :

Just to share my recent bad experience with this Streamyx agent with the forum nick tashfinsheikh

This is regarding my application for a new streamyx package to be installed at a new rented place

> 2 Nov 2011: PMed a few agents regarding their pricing as well as speed of service, and the agent mentioned above had the 'most promising' deal
> 23 Nov 2011: As i was going to move in by 3 Dec, decided to submit application about 2 weeks before to have ample time for processing & installation. Was given the Confirmation Slip on the same day noting that i was registered.
> 26 Nov 2011: Waited for few days until on this date decided to check with him on the schedule of my installation
> 27 Nov 2011: This was his reply:

This is the date of your appointment - 24-11-2011 14:00
this is ur agent's phone no: ***-*** ****

Appointment on 24th and was told on the 27th vmad.gif? Even that was after i queried him wink.gif . Thinking it was a typo or mistake, i asked him again but was told to contact the installer asap.

I contacted the contractor and he told me that he already cam to my place on the 24 Nov but no one was home (of course! i haven't moved in yet & have no knowledge that he was coming) and he contacted my hp but got no answer (apparently found out later that this agent gave him a wrong no. shakehead.gif )

Re-scheduled with the contractor to a later date (1 Dec 2011) as i was outstation and that was the only available time. When the day arrived, contractor told me that work order for my registration was cancelled as the appointment time had lapsed.

So i called my agent as i was about to move in a few days & for him to sort this mess. Turns out this guy can't really communicate well (even contractor didn't understand him, i surely didn't as well). And he blamed me saying that the contractor came and i wasn't there so it's my fault and now have to reapply and wait some more. rclxub.gif

He made no effort to rectify the issue and try to solve this for a win-win situation or even apologize for giving me such late notice. I threatened to change to another agent and he told me to gladly go ahead. Naturally, i did. wink.gif

I don't know if i'm just being unlucky here and others have dealt with him without any issues. But just sharing my experience, thoughts and heads-up to the public. cool2.gif

FrogCat: Sorry wasn't able to read the whole thread but, wow, u certainly have a bad case against him.

Tashfin: I'm not going back & forth with you arguing who made what mistake and which assumptions were true or false. I've already changed to another agent who has professionally handled my application with ease.

This thread is just here for heads-up to the public in making a decision whether to conduct business or not with a particular seller. There are no disputes to be resolved here as there were no monetary transactions (thank God!) conducted.

Thank you everyone and all comments are appreciated icon_rolleyes.gif
