Ha Ha, I slowpoke and just tasted massimo bread today. Surprisingly the bread tasted better imho, tasted more like the bread I bake myself, smells good too. My complain is the crust is too hard.
Before this I mostly bought hi5. Gardenia imho tasted too different from the homecooked bread, it has the peculiar bitter taste that I can detect. |

massimo has that 'premium' feel. a lot of uninformed consumers will opt for gardenia since they're more familiar with it.

Gardenia response:
QUOTE We would like to respond to the recent circulated slanderous e-mails and text messages (SMS) by parties whom we believe with ulterior motives and a lot to gain by using racial sensitivity and politics to their own end. sos rotiAllow us to post some questions: 1. Does any politically influenced company has posters (refer below) in their office? » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « 2. Does a political crony company has senior management team of qualified professionals all racially diverse? 3. Does Gardenia, at any time, get any special treatment or contracts? The fact is: Gardenia took pride in being everything that a good Malaysian company should be. We employ highly professional ethical people regardless of their races or religion. Competitors have tried time and again through underhanded means to exploit uninformed Malaysian with falsehoods for their own gain because it is just too difficult and will take too long to compete professionally and on fair grounds. Gardenia’s senior management team is made of qualified professionals. We promote racial diversity from the management team to the ground level. The ingredients used in Gardenia products are purchased from suppliers who can meet Gardenia’s high quality specifications at competitive prices. Please forward my reply to your friends and do include it in your facebook/blogs. Don’t allow them to be used by unscrupulous parties. If you need further clarification, please call Koh Chin Huat, Hazlinah Harun or Lavinia Anthony at 03 – 5542 3228. Thank you. Gardenia Bakeries (KL) Sdn Bhd |
