For detail and accuracy, HotToys is the way to go, previously i've been collecting medicom figures before HotToys came along.

Then HotToys products just keeps getting better and better in details, accessory and extra hands and head sculpt also makes HotToys 12-inch products a plus point for collectors.

Price wise also quite worth the amount your are paying for.

Hot Toys products is always on limited issue, because of hand sculpt and hand paint job. Its tough work but brings out the details in their figures. Thats why Yulli Choi is such a cutey so hard at work.

Thats why sometimes the allocation to other south east asia countries always have a shortage, even on pre-orders. Because HotToys will cut orders even at pre-order stage if they cannot fulfill the total overall orders.

And why HotToys products are in such a demand is because it is released exclusively to asia region countries (HK first and Japan, etc) and US only through their licensed distributor with DC/sideshow.

Well the she predator is of course a very good choice, since its the first release of HotToys female new body for the predator line.
Both is very hard to pass on. So it really depends on which one you like more.

If you are a predator fan like me, i normal get all that HotToys will release for the predator.

Since AVP 3 is confirmed in the making, HotToys should be coming out with more predator figures as well in the future.

Added on August 31, 2008, 3:56 pmGot some bad news for you guys, guess what, for those that collected their Aliens Nostromo Dallas, if you are waiting for Kane, i am sadly to say some of you will be dissapointed.
HT have some licensing issue with kane.

Cause their headsculpt did not get the official approval for being granted the actor's likeness, so as you can see from the pictures they change the headsculpt from the previous prototype.


Here is the final approved headsculpt after they couldn't get the approval.
And now we know why they give extra face hugger.:???: :evil:
The new sculpt looks like he is staring into space with a blur tone.
And what is with that 70's look mustache


Here is another reference picture from the movie, it doesnt look anything like the new head sculpt obviously.

About the raiden problems i am sure it is due to certain batch and luck.

I havent really got time to play with mine cause really busy these days with work.

But here are some pictures to share with you guys about how poseable the raiden really is, from another collector.
So it goes to proves that the articulation on the raiden has indeed improve from medicom, if you know how to adjust the joints properly to the pose you want without damaging it the body suit.

Finally finished my CIA SAD, first time assembling 12-inch military, the rest sadly are still in boxes, cause havent made a cabinet yet. But just couldnt resist doing this figure up.

Figure took me about 2 days to finish, cause only have time after work.

Hope you guys like it and do give some pointers, i know the figure looks too clean and new, will try and do some weathering on it. Don't know why but i really like this CIA a lot, probably due to the covert operation nature and the skull balaclava.

advocado bro, you're in luck, i'm planning to let go my extra MGS normal version, mint in box condition.
This unit previously already was on reserved but the buyer didnt update me when he ready to cod, so planning to let him go to anyone who appreciates snake hehe

Checked yesterday, diamondcomics at lowyat selling the Joker 1st version at RM600 already

Normally re-run is same with first issue, this re-run normally is to fulfill the previous orders they couldnt fulfill with retailers cause sold out immediatly in HK 3 hours when released.
