Whatever it is, last night show that AVB cant cope with pressure and resort to make two obtuse substitution. One, as abbas saad pointed out why on eart u pull out ur best striker and best influential and creative player for mikel and maloda? i think decision to change romeu with kalou was spot on though. 2nd, torres has every right to replace drogba who is totally invisible on 2nd half.

If we had won Wigan, I would had been optimistic ahead of Spurs game, but now, again hope for the best only.

hm.. the game against wigan is just epic. i like what abbas saad said about the team and AVB. he said we are not positive enough by substituting our good performers (romeu, sturridge and mata) with incompetent player like, especially malouda and kalou. the game is just 1-0 and we gamble our future just to make the 3 subbed in player happy. i am not sure how long this will happen..

secondly, we are not being professional. after scoring the 1st goal, we sit back and try to absorb anything wigan throw at us. i belive we should keep attacking them. kill the game, kill the spirit and motivation. we got lucky cech and terry did not become a casualty during the game. if not, it will be much bitter to swallow the draw and injury.

IMO, the starting line-up already have a flaw in it. meireless and lampard cant play together because it renders meireless to become useless. there is a big difference when meireless partnering ramires. i have nothing against the selection of drogba but he should be subbed during the 2nd half.

drogba's contract ends this summer and i dont think he will stay with us anymore. i hope malouda and kalou can go out also. mikel should stay. i still believe he is an asset in diffrent type of game. can rotate with romeu also.

It's the same as subbing in Torres to make him happy.
For me, Kalou can stay or else we will be lacking in wider positions. His running is also an asset for us.

i always think Drogba lazy in running.. maybe every time i jus watched the 2nd half..

AVB memang wanted sub in Torres. Then suddenly Sturridge scored, but Wigan still dominating the game.

So of course he sub out Mata for Mikel to defend since Mata not influencing the game.

I think Sturridge's case also the same since Sturridge didn't defend particularly well ( ok enough for me though), and Malouda played LB before for us 2 times last season. So I think it was also a defensive change.

And please don't be so cruel towards Malouda, he helped us won the West Brom game, mind you.


Of course I prefer AVB sub in offensive player, but remember, beginning of season, when he went all gung-ho, everyone say they miss Mourinho's defensive style.

Now AVB try defensive for one game and backfired, all blast him again.

Yup, Malouda did some good game before, but recent game he isnt.

AVB promise us an attacking play when he got signed isnt it? We have terrible defence.. he shld improve it before we even thinking of using it.

when leading 1-0, they need to find another 1 goal to kill off the game. but since last season, they will satisfy if lead 1-0. that's not good.
