QUOTE(hidzwan @ Dec 5 2011, 09:06 AM) later when your so-called best eleven doesn't perform you'll blame him for not giving chance to others and youngsters pulak. It's impossible that all the chosen eleventh were rubbish all and at the same time eh? We need consistency and by rotating players, it's hard to get a consistent result week in and week out unless it's for strategy agenda. Did you call up Ranieri? I bet he still do that rotation thang at Inter eh? QUOTE stop asking what he should and should not do. believe our manager, believe the players and believe Chelsea. They say believing is deceiving. I believe in results because that is the most important thing as a football manager. Just for the record, I'm not asking AVB anything as I do not have his contact number but I'm expressing my opinion in a small Chelsea section thread. Relax! |

Actually, AVB don't even rotate much. If you look at his selections, only two spot is not fixed.
----Cech----- Iva--Luiz--Terry--Cole --Romeu/Mikel--- Ramires--Lampard/Meireles Danny--Drogba--Mata Only our holding midfielder and 2nd midfielder constantly change. As for Forward, Drogba's clearly number 1. No doubt judging from AVB's action. I know we all want Torres to regain his form by playing a lot, but can you blame AVB for not choosing Torres? Torres not even performing well, and if he doesn't, us fans will starting calling for AVB's head when we don't win. I don't think that's a risk worth taking. |

Yup, especially CB. Bruma already said he don't want to return to Chelsea from loan just to warm bench. Somehow, the more I watch Gary Cahill play, the more lousy I see he is. Don't know why he's linked to so many big clubs. English. |

everytime i go out with friends they will say "uuu wheres ur 50 mil pound man this and that. 50 mil is for scoring striker not some assist blablabla"
im sick of it. torres got to buck up and start giving back what the club had paid for him we seriously need a striker who can score when drogba leaves. and for god sake how many times do i have to point out some bloody wingers!! |

QUOTE(chitchat @ Dec 5 2011, 02:15 PM) +1 for DROGBAÂ From now on, I want AVB to start Drogba, then we maybe around 70minutes on,especially when opponent is looking for a goal, they're going to leave a big space behind the defense. That's the time to unleash Torres. We have seen this against Newcastle. This enable Torres to score easier and might be the KEY to build his confidence again. But of course, if the opponent still keep their defense tight, no point subbing Torres in for Drogba. But worry not ANC coming, TORRES will have a whole month of games to prove himself, i will be real disappointed if LUKAKU outperform him and get the starting line up. Say it in a simpler way, we need to look for the RIGHT TIME to play Torres. This post has been edited by ericling: Dec 5 2011, 08:33 PM |

But what I meant just now is, we should start finding the right time to play Torres so that we can build his confidence and his sharpness again. With Torres current form, I don't think he can break any fresh defense, so subbing him in might be a better option. Drogba is a good player if he can play 90 minutes ,but too bad, he can't. Subbing Torres in for Drogba every match is not a good thing, it became a definite sub, and the 3 subs eventually became 2 subs. |

QUOTE(Zeuss1220 @ Dec 4 2011, 09:26 PM) I really like Luiz. I like it when he does his forwards runs if there's someone like Iva covering him. He just need to get his head straight and have strong mentality like Terry. Luiz-Terry is still the best center back combo for us. luiz have a bright future in chelsea, with a good decision-making if he really need to go for attacking and clear ball very well. but as a young player, he often made mistakes in keeping posession ( one of it cost us a loss to MUFC as for now, the only young lads that i see will give a great foundation for our club is david luiz and sturridge. but before that, they need to learn from their seniors. |
