haiz...my betta turn pale out of no where and now its lying on the bottom.....i gave it (6-7 worms +2 hikari bio pellet a day), did water change every 2-3 days with anti chlorine and stress coat .......................the only thing different before it turn white is the paper i use to divide both betta fish has blew off ZZZZZ when i reached home it turn super pale d but they did not even fight as it is in a separate tank....

right now its still eating+shit alot....but will only swim when i gently tap it for  breakfast and dinner.......will try out aquarium salt tomorrow....haiz now im adding malachite green for anti external bacteria..but 2days already got no effect.......will try out daily100% aged water change+anti chlorine+malachite green+aquarium salt...2morrow...any other advise can pro advise me........ the temperature is maintain between 81F to 80 or 79* lowest, using tap water, used to be in a 2 gallon tank but for medication purpose currently put it in a 2.5 liter tank....

ur oto cat is hungry, and trying to eat the slime coat of ur betta....

ya slime coat is a mucus layer that ever fishes hav as first immune defense to diseases.....u can try put cucumber to feed ur oto cat....i feed mine hikari algae wafer, it looks tasty to the fish but it make my tank water cloudy lol.
If u r sure is an oto cat instead of siamese algae eater...then put in cucumber
