QUOTE(panasonic88 @ Dec 10 2012, 03:48 PM) Just to share What's the speed after 1gb?I used more than 1GB of data from my iValue1 plan this month & wasn't charge any extra amount on data. So the SMS from Maxis is real Added on December 10, 2012, 5:52 pmBy the way, anyone can confirm that we cannot maintain our current plan (others then previous ivalue plan) when we getting iphone5 from maxis? I've just called maxis and been told that we will need to change our current plan to ivalue plan when buying ip5. We cannot maintain our current plan as what we can choose when register at the booking page. The maintain current plan option is only for maintain the current ivalue plan, not for maintain others plan. What a stupid and useless option for us to choose. zzz This post has been edited by onnying88: Dec 10 2012, 05:54 PM |

QUOTE(krazee_k @ Dec 10 2012, 06:48 PM) Can extend, just refer contract extension. As long as old plus new is no more that 30 months is a no biggie. Yeah, totally Understand how u feel as I too called customer service and 2 of 3 gave me the wrong solution I.e: Contract extension is only apply for existing ivalue plan. What i mean is maintaining my current plan (others then ivalue plan). As when i'm filling up the booking detail we have the option to 'maintain current plan', so i thought i can maintain my 'unlimited data plan'. I don't mind if Maxis allow me to maintain my current plan and lock me with contract for 2 years with it. But it's cannot be this time. sad. >.<- no u can't do contract extension since u got 12 months to go (out of 24) - oh u have to cancel n pay penalty n take new plan. After the 2nd one I checked out the contract extension portion on the iPhone 5 page, calculated, and old (12) plus new plan (12 months) is a no brainer n approvable. Even the 3rd customer service guys agrees. "Yes sir, why would u pay penalty+cancel when u can just extend no more than 30 months total?" (Hope maxis is watching n will educate customer service better) |

QUOTE(SteveLee @ Dec 10 2012, 09:52 PM) heyy just asking, i'm only a student and just wanna know that 12-month or 24-month is suited for me ? lol i know this is a broad question and a noob one but i nid ur help =) How much is your monthly usage normally? Do you use a lot of data? IF you call and use data a lot. I believe this time Maxis offering a very good package so both 12 or 24 month also good for you. But if you only using prepaid and monthly usage only less then RM30 include call and data. Both also not good for you. |

QUOTE(basSist @ Dec 11 2012, 12:57 PM) anyone got supplementary line experience with ivalue plan? There is two type of subline you can apply.i saw RM30 commitment fee. the commitment is not bundle with free call and sms right? 1) For RM30 commitment fee subline, You get RM30 credit use for calling and get free call with principle line. 2) For RM10 commitment fee subline, there will be no credit for calling out. Pay per use and also no free call between principle line. Just have 20% discount for calling principle line. If i'm not mistake call rate will be RM0.18 per min before discount. i'm currently using this RM10 subline for me gf This post has been edited by onnying88: Dec 11 2012, 01:35 PM |

QUOTE(acbc @ Dec 11 2012, 11:05 PM) Just got a call from my agent (who does the corporate plan for my company). I hope i can get 5x multisim for my unlimited too. Envy T_TCurrently, I'm on VP50 + RM 99 unlimited data = 5x MultiSIM w/ shared data plan. If opt for any iPhone5 package from Maxis, I will lose both RM 99 data plan and MultiSIM on the spot. Ain't worth it! |

QUOTE(acbc @ Dec 11 2012, 11:14 PM) Now sure cannot already... unless u lansi with them. Last month I tried to apply Multi-SIM for my bro's line but they rejected. So, I yelled at the CS to tell his boss, I will go to Menara Maxis and move all 10 lines to Celcom (which is their neighbor) next year. Good thing I always pay on time and never late even once. Auto debit mah. Save RM 10 and earn privilege to scold rookie CS. i will try it and see how. do you think it's actually still working for all multisim to share the data? Just that they try to hold us back from applying it?I get the feeling when i'm trying to apply multi last 2 weeks. >.< |

I think it's aim for those who originally plan to buy outright and using the surfmore plan.
But then, phone price RM2079 for 16gb and 2 years contract =.=" |
