Could someone here explain to me how those "you take the phone, I take the plan" arrangements work? Because I already have the phone and I think that the iValue plans would better suit me.
Like how much should the person taking the phone pay to the one taking the plan? At RRP or subsidised price?
When registering should both parties be there for registration? Who would be the one paying for the whole thing first?
Some guidance from those who have done it would be much appreciated

And happy holidays everyone!

1) open thread at garage sales then state out your WTS IP5 "you take the phone, I take the plan"
2) set the price you want to sell off the ip5. Normally a little cheaper or same as rrp or if you lucky, you may get higher then rrp if someone wanted to get the telco warranty instead of apple warranty. Just any amount that you feel comfortable.
3) 2 ways of dealing,
First way, you buy the phone and sign the plan with your own money first then bring the phone to the buyer and cod with the buyer.
Second way, you and the buyer walk in to the telco center and ask the buyer pay on the spot and let the buyer get the phone. You just be there to sign the plan contract and also collect the balance from the buyer if any.
4) You walk out with the plan and the buyer walk out with the phone. Deal closed.
You happy buyer happy.
