QUOTE(djkeoni @ Dec 12 2012, 02:15 PM) With regards to the MOC pricing, is the only real benefit getting the phone at RM150 less for eg for the 16GB iValue 2? Agree with you the RM800 advance payment is not a benefit. I'm on same thinking.I don't regard the no advance payment as a benefit as it will eventually come back to you over the first few months. How does that contra with the fact u have to pay an extra RM55/month for 24 months if say compared to if I originally planned to take the 16GB iValue 1 for 12 months? Any advise? Just unsure how worthwhile is this MOC pricing or is it just a way to get u to spend more per month on what u don't really need and being locked down for an additional year. For me is much easier. Every month I can claim ~RM150 for phone bills. So that's pretty straightforward to me If you don't need the extra rm55, then just stick to the 12 months iValue1 = 1699 for phone. 24 mths iValue2 = RM999 for phone. That's rm700 difference for device alone. Therefore, it boils down to your additional RM55 x (12 or 24) months, depending on how you want to calculate it. |

QUOTE(xjia @ Dec 12 2012, 04:50 PM) I already applied Ivalue 1 plan for the invitation at Capsquare... can change to this simple plan ? hehe, looks better. cheaper. Can change. You still have not sign on the dotted line contract.1GB date enough for me. The only consideration is, Maxis at Capsquare may say they are promoting iValue 1-4 only there, no others. Hence, you won't be able to get iPhone5 even if you want that difference contract. It may or may not happen. |

QUOTE(xjia @ Dec 12 2012, 04:57 PM) .....sad... Btw, i just want the phone, i dont care others, im already a postpaid customer, just gimme the phone. You want immediate phone, then telco want to tie you down further.Dont like being tied....contract. Don't want contract, stand aside and wait few more weeks until the dust settles down. That's how telco behaves. Point is, whichever brings in CONFIRMED RECURRING revenue, that's where telco will go at this moment. BTW, I'm not working with any telco |

Mean MAXIS order eh all sell in capsule so left few peanut units to other state and places? =.= As mention earlier, telco will sell to those that they can tie down for future (24 months better than 12 months) which will give recurring confirmed income. It's nothing personal, it's just business - Donald |

QUOTE(tiger3555 @ Dec 12 2012, 08:05 PM) hi all sifu, wan to ask i got 6 months contract corporate plan to go. Any way o method to waive my penalty since i will take the individual plan with ip5 this friday? can ask them to extend my contract to 30 months, 24+6=30? You need to get out from the Corporate plan first. I'm sure the Agent won't be happy to help you deal with it. Check clearly with Maxis/agent, it may not be able to extend with the personal plan contract. |

QUOTE(tiger3555 @ Dec 13 2012, 01:17 PM) can i do all the process to change corporate plan to individual plan at capsquare tomorrow?meaning i have to pay penalty? I don't think so. The corporate plan, will need to contact back your company maxis agent to change it back to individual plan first. It can take days/weeks. Mostly due to agent not co-operating and delay, since they will be losing 1x corp-customer.Maxis won't able to help you directly. QUOTE(WillChow @ Dec 13 2012, 02:01 PM) I'm sure this is a stupid question but if I already have the phone, am I eligible to sign up for ivalue 1? Yes, of course. You can do it at any Maxis centres. You can also take the opportunity to sign 12 months contract, get the phone and sell it out for profit. |

QUOTE(cassytan @ Dec 17 2012, 03:00 PM) nope still not get mine and I AM SOO UPSET!!! I pre-book with MOC for friday morning. Go there and found out no stock (32&64) at the ground level tent. No notice was given, and then ... the no-stock SMS arrive right in front of their face. Really give them a piece of my mind, until they agree to personally called me when got stock.pre register early also no use and all they do is just send an SMS says no stock!! at least with celcom, pay RM 200 for sure get the I5...shold have listen to my mates I tell them I'm not going to queue again (actually I didn't queue earlier Wasted my time, transport, etc. Sat noon, a senior (very long title) Maxis personnel called me, say got stock and to call him when I reach CapSquare. I went there later, and enter directly, and go down escalator. No queue number was given to me. I don't have to fill up or write any forms. But my details key-in iPad by a girl, immediately get my new micro-SIM in 5 minutes. No queue number, straight divert me to counter H3*. A staff straight prepare everything, sign contract, pay for the phone. Straight to collect at H/I for 32GB (no queue there) Immediate go "unblock me" counter to set it up. Then ... leave within 30 minutes of arriving. Fri - I was really really pissed off and give them a piece of my mind. Sat - Well, all was mended, with extra-VIP assistance to get it done. |

QUOTE(Survivor @ Dec 17 2012, 07:00 PM) Maxis really pissed off a lot of their loyal customers with the no stock issues on Friday Capsquare launch event. A lot of people actually went through a lot of hessle to get there and queue up but in the end was told no stock for the model that they have pre-book. Of cause some say Maxis already stated in their email that it is subject to stock availability but the part I don't understand is people already mentioned what model they want in advance, how did Maxis fail to plan the stock accordingly? Excuses like a lot of people buy outright and upgrade last minute was given which are all bullsh*t. If you failed to plan, you plan to fail! I'm one of the pissed off ones at CapSquare on Friday morning 9am-2pm session. Stand on my ground until Maxis staff can offer me an acceptable solution post #28 Anyway, all was mended, when the Maxis staff called me personally and arrange me to direct pickup & contract immediately on Sat. QUOTE(chaon @ Dec 17 2012, 09:11 PM) Guys..just wanna ask...im been using a smartphone for about 3 years..but never take any telco bundle plan...and now wish to take iphone bundle plan...to be frank a we get the benefit from the plan or loss?? And some of my friend said that maxis have too many hidden charges... can someone clarify this...thanks!!! If you are an average user of calls & sms & data of RM100/month, then get the iValue 1.If RM150/month, iValue2. and so on. The reasoning is simple. If you are already spending X amount on bills, might as well sign contract and get subsidised phone, right ? RRP is 2,499 But if you are spending RM50 or less on calls+sms+data ... then forget it, stick to prepaid or no plans. |

QUOTE(yeane @ Dec 22 2012, 01:34 PM) i found tht it is an idiot to be a loyal customer for maxis. i m from a small town in sabah and there is no maxis centre but a MEP here. Similiar with me. I've been a MOC for >10 years continuous, without changing telco in between.i hv been waiting ip5 since its first launch in globa and yet i havent seen or touch it until today. i was told by a worker of MEP that ip5 was here last week but the priority was given to the NEW CUSTOMER =.= , i was kinda sad hearing tht and found myself to be so stupid for waiting the plan from maxis and this make me miss the chance from getting ip5 from digi...DAMN MAXIS Already pre-book and confirmed customer for 32GB, and went on allocated time to CapSquare, and they told me sold out in early morning for those contract & eligible to buy 3x extra I made a big hoo haa, in the end, got my phone the next day as promised without queuing. |

QUOTE(ccy1989 @ Dec 26 2012, 02:08 AM) Example: I am taking ivalue2 plan 12 months contract EPP will block 1599 from your CC, and reduce by 133.25 every month when you make payment. The EPP will charge RM1599 iphone price + (12months contract x RM155) = RM3459 ? or it will only charge RM1599 + RM400 advanced payment = RM1999? Besides, I am interesting how will maxis bill you ? since the RM400 advanced will rebate accordingly.. Will it display like -RM155 on the bill ? or RM0 since i am using EPP (all charge thru credit card) Enlighten me pls You can also charge the 400 advance payment into your CC, but no EPP. As long as your CC credit limit is sufficient. The rebate, depends, go read the fine prints. If let's say, it rebates you in 5x, that means RM80 will be deducted every month, for the first 5 months. i.e. RM155 - 80 + tax, etc. = ~rm80 to pay for billing. Don't forget your phone device RM133.25 EPP also Total will be ~RM210+ monthly if you don't exceed usage for the first 5 months (133.25 + 155 - 80 + etc.). Subsequent months will be ~290-310 +/- if you don't exceed usage (133.25 + 155 + etc.). |

QUOTE(fish@5311 @ Dec 28 2012, 09:42 AM) Correct me If I am wrong, This is one of my points when I raise a big hoo-haa at CapSquare on Fri launch couple of weeks ago. The staff on-the-ground can't give me a satisfactory answer, and no senior staff is putting their head on the chopping board (to take up the responsibility). From what I read in forums around here, why some walk in customers can get their phones within the day and always have stock when pre-order customers like me have to wait so god damn long for my stock to arrive? I think this is a little unfair, as because, Maxis should reserve those limited stocks for those customers on the long waiting list, because they pre-ordered it earlier, and some even paid the deposit and sign up for the plan while waiting for stock. As for my case, I register myself on the waiting list 2 weeks ago, and they have not even contacted me for my phone yet. When I called Maxis, and they boldly told me the whole of Klang Valley ran out of stock for the 32gb model that I ordered and can't even tell me a probable date of arrival for the next stock intake. However as I see from this forum, certain outlet do have stock coming in from day to day, which contradicts with their statement. Why are they not rationing their stock accordingly? I could have no qualms and wait patiently if there is genuinely no stock, but I do not see that happening through browsing this forum. I know this is not within your control as you guys do not represent Maxis, but could anyone here who knows more about this matter could kindly clarify me on the real deal behind this kind of act. I stand my ground and escalate all the way up until a senior takes up the responsibility, that's Chris C... and it's settled. You need to raise it up tactfully and escalate high enough for someone who will take action to call you back. The person must be Maxis direct staff. Not agents/franchise/etc. |

QUOTE(fish@5311 @ Dec 28 2012, 06:39 PM) What I did was wrong, I should not go to another center to get my I-phone, rather I should stand still and ask like you did! I may not get my phone on the day itself, but at least get a satisfactory answer not an open ended one. It is a matter of responsibilty by Maxis towards their customer. Thank you for educating me on a valueble lesson. I understand Maxis concern than Fri at CapSquare has no stock, but I'm persistent on a solution that is acceptable to me. As a long time customer, I don't let Maxis to push me around. Same should apply to the rest, we're paying money as a customer and some expectation is justified. Hope u get your phone already... |

QUOTE(fish@5311 @ Jan 2 2013, 10:45 PM) Yeah screw reservations, I think I will give Maxis a piece of my mind soon, just like one great former here taught me. You still not yet get your phone ?Anyways, happy hunting.... Hahaha, .the 32gb, is still an elusive model.. Sentral, Selayang, Cheras....are my main targets Sadly I am working, if not will definitely do it tommorow as on weekdays, chances are higher...to secure one My friend who pre-reg at CapSquare, did not turn up after Maxis send the SMS of no stock for 32/64. She complain via 123 and spoke to CS. I told her to escalate it up via the CS. Of course, not as demanding as me. Few days after that, she got a call to pickup at KL Sentral. She already got the phone for ~2 weeks already and using it happily. It's a 32GB black. QUOTE(Reventon @ Jan 3 2013, 12:56 AM) Both 32 & 64 are rare currently. Seems like there are a lot of 16GB stocks.QUOTE(fik92 @ Jan 3 2013, 01:06 AM) LTE ready Just to set the expectation right, as previously posted by other forumers. We have launched 4G LTE in parts of the Klang Valley in the areas of Cyberjaya, Taman Tun Dr Ismail, Damansara Utama, Desa Sri Hartamas, Bandar Puchong Jaya and Bandar Sunway. Other areas that have partial coverage are SS2, Taman Paramount, Section 17 and 19 in Petaling Jaya, Plaza Damansara, Bandar Kinrara and Taman Wawasan in Puchong. We will be activating many other areas soon. If you would like to be among the first to experience Maxis 4G LTE, then please walk into any of the following Maxis Centres: KLCC Taman Tun Dr. Ismail 1) Apple iPhone supports LTE. 2) However, the freq band approved by our MCMC, is at a different range. Hence it is not within iPhone5 and we have to stick back with HSDPA for fastest. |
