Can anyone confirmed that if we signed up for iPhone 5 plan on the launch day, we can get another unit as outright without plan?

its already in the email... can buy outright after buy 1 with plan..

problem is its only for principal line.. so if ur a principal line so no problem..

but if your sub.... then bring ur principal owner as well to purchase the 1 more outright phone...

the email only stated for people with invitation that buy from capsquare..

but yeah after that maybe people want to purchase from maxis centre and MEP store are able to buy same as caqsquare event...

the only confirm is people that get invited from ROI... its already stated on the invitation email under reserver your spot

I've just called maxis and been told that we will need to change our current plan to ivalue plan when buying ip5. We cannot maintain our current plan as what we can choose when register at the booking page. The maintain current plan option is only for maintain the current ivalue plan, not for maintain others plan. What a stupid and useless option for us to choose. zzz

Oh man.. Maxis offer me iphone 5 for RM999..summore advance payment 800 also waived...

Now using note 2..current plan family plus and unlimited data..

I have booked a 32GB Black and my friend have booked a 32GB White.
But my friend decided not to buy alr.....but he'll b going together with me.
Do u think i can take his 32GB White?

I'm gonna give my honest opinion here. I did not even regret a single bit in porting in to Maxis. 4 bars of 3G and I'm already getting a great speed. Thanks Maxis !

Just to share, I got mine  out right on launch day 14th December from Maxis Mahkota Parade Melaka cz I'm a Malaccan.

Went at 8.30AM, only 12 people lining up. Met a Maxis employee and asked her whether can I buy outright. She said yes, but only for 2nd purchase. Means that you have to buy one with plan, the 2nd set can be an outright set.

I only wanted an outright, so I made friends with this lady, and found out she wanted to get one with plan. So I asked to tumpang and she helped me purchased.

Cut my sim card at another mobile phone shop, and its good to go. Enjoying the speed of the iPhone 5. It's really fast.

So if you wanna buy outright set, you may do so from Maxis Centres for 2nd outright set. But stocks are refurbishing on 2 - 3 days basis as a small state like Malacca, 2 days after launch day, Sunday, they alrd restocked. So don't worry if you wanna get yours!

Hmm, so i'm ordering my i5 from Apple Online Store and decided not to get iValue Simple alr. Any other data plans??

If anyone looking for maxis plan, can try to go SS2 maxis there to sign up..heard there got stock

i'm on digi 88 plan(63 monthly) and the contract just ended (phew) and it will return to back to rm88 monthly.

i saw maxis's ivalue simple which is RM50 and i think its time to hop to maxis.. unless of coz digi counter with better plan.. say digi 44 plan? lol..

until that time i think maxis now has the edge here... but klcc/pavilion maxis centres all out of stock
