*
No xx, Jalan Panglima Awang 35/1xxx, Alam Impian, Seksyen 35, 40470, Shah Alam, Selangor. should be the correct address. Pos Malaysia does not make distinction between I&P Alam Impian and TTDI Alamn Impian

done unify installation just now. actually they need to pull out cable outside our hse and connect to the main which is at the back of our hse. I placed it at 1st flr fmly hall. asked them to tarik the cable through your ceiling. Of course we have to pay some amount for the cable. mine xtraa coz i asked them to connect it to my TV in my bedroom as well.

if we can get discount from Naza I will claim them back la mcm tu. Can meh??
*
According to information from Naza TTDI staff, if the application did not get submitted with the letter from TTDI, no discount. Hence some of us have chosen to put a hold on to our application until we have received the letter.

Don't mind sharing maxis promotion rate ?
*
It was RM118 for 10MBps. However already over as of June 28. New promo is RM138 for Maxis subscribers, and RM148 for non-subscribers. The bundled minutes also much less.

QUOTE(venven81 @ Jun 30 2012, 04:38 PM)
the previous thomson router was having some software issue as been told by my network engineer (im working in a fiber optic network infra company btw). the latest thomson router has improved a lot in terms of reliability as my engineer has tested it with Celcom's service. hopefully maxis is now using the improved version and not the older one. no doubt the core backbone is still running on TM's as other telcos don't have much choice. therefore, they are now partnering with us in other area where we have our fibre infra  wink.gif
another point to take note is that in some cases TM will only pull their fiber optic cable and terminate at street level, and not all the way into every home units. as a result, some buildings, e.g. apartment/MDU are still using existing copper cable for last mile connection and hence the slow connection speed.
*
any idea whether the new software supports setting up a DMZ?

*

Later when unifi available in viola only can ask the installer to make use of this home plug. how does this work actually?
Do they make use of the existing phone point ?
*
a home plug runs ethernet signals over your powerlines. basically you have to buy in pairs.

Aztech Homeplugs

note that some home plug only works on the same phase. For single phase supply, straight forward. more complicated for a three-phase supply.
i.e. the power point where you plug in, may not be the same phase as the power point you intend to plug out from. These 2 points will not be connected.

But i think problem solved in newer generations.

it's one of the ways that we could impose to those "offenders". they will not be able to use their access cards and have to go through security guards whenever they want to enter into their so-called "own premises". get the security guards to give them hard time and really make them annoyed. apart from that, i have also learned other tips from my friend who is one of the committee members of RA in Desa Park City. lots of tips given indeed  thumbup.gif
gonna bring those up during the RA formation and committee meetings smile.gif
*
Being an individual titled property, think blocking/restricting access will be illegal. Need to get lawyer advice. DPC is strata titled

but i dont really understand why naza ttdi houses at alam impian have lower quality, not so nice design, so further in but still can get better price than units at inp houses.

by the way, may I know what they gonna build on the road side all the way to naza ttdi in the future? shop lot ma???
*
design is subjective .. what works for you may not work for others.

Quality wise I would not comment as I have never seen an I&P house in AI.

that section is primarily under I&P. You can see the model in their showroom to have an idea of the future plans

ok if 21k is expensive, find cheaper (but reliable ones).

I'm estimating per month per house rm150 max.
*
Actually it is.. I would actually expect not more than RM100 per house or there is bound to be a problem with collection.

do note condo has a variety of facilities which we do not have. too high a fee and we are bound to have collection issues especially from the empty/investor units

Commit too high cost (coz of budgeting) and other houses will need to cover the shortfall. I don't mind RM150, but do recall if 30% of houses do not pay, remaining owners may need to fork up to RM215 to cover the shortfall.

We better be getting the value of the funds we pay.
