Asus G74SX-91185V any good? I' thinking of buying it.

Oh, I really dont care the size/weight/noise/battery all that cuz its pretty much a desktop replacement. Due to certain circumstances, I can't have a desktop so don't be asking me why not get a desktop  question >_>

But I'm looking more of how its the FPS in games Crysis/World of Warcraft/Skyrim. More on like preformance side I'm looking for. And also this will be my 1st Asus so wondering you experts or users would know if they have any issues etc Cuz I've been an Acer user.

x51 is desktop

I've stated due to certain circumstances, I cannot and unable to have a Desktop. If I could I would have, 7 years ago. Instead of going thru laptop after laptop every 2 years. But they were all Acer. Thus I wanted a change of Brand. And I was looking at this particular model so I was asking if anyone know if its good and if there was any known issues.

If I wanted a desktop I wouldn't be in this thread.

To me, X51 is more like Desktop Gaming Spec squeeze into a gaming console chassis.

i think its GPU, coz connect to external monitor oso no display..

i dont think so, i always check my GPU temp during gaming, it never exceed 85°C and im playing in a full AC room
im not a heavy gamer anyway, just play <4 hours a day
and the display didnt suddenly go dead, its starts with some weird colour for a few weeks before it completely dead

yup, sumthing like that, black colour turns into green, white into pink/yellowish
sometimes its okay, then suddenly it comes again
then the screen goes totally blank

hi where is the best place to get Asus G53sx? i checked with Asus retailer said have to wait 2 to 4 weeks

since u already have AW as a portable gaming, the new GTX660 Ti same price as the GTX550Ti, as powerful as the GTX 570...

Most likely G55 doesn't have enought space and different in size for GTX 670m cooling. Seems to me like Asus gets pressure from MSI when they introduce it with GTX 570m and GTX 580m instead of GTX 560m.

my g73 i wanna custom the button hot keys...tried with asus 1.3 key thingy but doesnt work with win 7 64bit
