Did u know that heat kills the battery cells and causes battery lifespan reduce drastically?

Things i dislike about G55 design is the lack of dual drives, and battery pack position(identical to G74/M14x). Though it pack with quite performance GPU, and better IOs on the side.
Not really sangkut, but i know how the air dissipates along the temp when it only release on one vent flow.
It should be okay as Asus R&D tested the heat not that high. G55 sacrificed quite a lot of major components from its predecessor.

it may seems tat both open vents will blow out air easier.
but scientifically, when one vent is 100% open and the other is juz slightly open, air flow is more effective.
tis is because they are of different pressure. when air are pushes inside towards the narrow vent, it is at a higher pressure, it will flow directly towards the bigger vent. hence, this may be a more effective air flow system.

tis is the same as opening a can of condensed milk, where u nid an additional small hole for it to flow out thru the big hole tat u buka wif the can opener thingy.

quite a lot of sacrifices? what else did it sacrifice other else than the dual drives?

2020..  it will have intel core 9th gen processor,128gb ram , nvidia gtxx 1060 processor 32gb gddr5, bluetooth 10.0, mega blu ray drive, 6d ultra hd(4000x2000) holographic screen, 4 subwoofers, 5 usb 6.0.3 vents and FULY OPENED.

*the specs above is forecast specs only. will confirmed when asus product guide may-june 2020 arrive..so looks like you have to wait for the g56 and g76 to arrive

Depends, if u need G55, then its ok.
G53 cooling method, air intake below the LCD(somewhere right above the buttons and speaker grills), and out from the 2 back vents.
They will probably listen to customer feedback and make a comeback with dual vents, dual hdd + mSata upgradability, thunderbolt port, esata + ss USB port, better speaker with sub woofer.

approx when you getting your refund bro? and is it ok for you to get the g55 with one hdd only? i mean you can always use an external hard drive what laptop you decided to buy after refund?

chill bro,,, I have an idea for you, you buy the ssd and instal it as your primary drivein the g55, then now you have the 1tb hdd in your hands..go any buy the hdd internal to external converter..it is like a case where you put the 1tb hdd in the case and and use it as an external hdd..now the hdd can connect through usb port..finally you will have a ssd in the g55 and an external hdd( thats the default hdd in your g55) the converter is very cheap..around rm30 to 50 only..problem solved.

Then, we're now on the same boat

if have to send your lappy to Asus service center, better buy panadol & burn paper money.

forget abouth the sf-19 and go with the x3..how is it adjustable? right now my g55 sits perfectly on the x3..a picture will be uploaded soon..and the g55 WILL SOLVE YOUR problems with your old pc
