they had sold the right of publishing of course they will try to back it up.
but it might be the same as IRIS online after this.
they release patches but nothing major.. and then game die slowly..
but no harm in trying the game..
heck if the game release i will be the among the first to play it..
but wont put too much hope in it.

got 1 article on MMOsite, saying LO closed due to bugs, while i never heard games closed after 3 months just because of the bugs. 3 months was a short period, and they decide to close because cant fix the bugs on short period? does not make sense.
on the other hand, a another newer article on MMOsite, surprisingly written by same writer , saying lots of MMO server closed down, including LO, because of the new law. several MMO closed down, not only LO, but many other major titles too. again, its not only LO.
the right of publishing in korea no more. but on other regions, same as many other games, it always other company, even Ragnarok.

Since several new policies about video games were announced by South Korean government, they have thrown great pain to those online game-related companies. From Feb. to March, several MMOs have been shut down in Korea. It is not only a pity, but also shows the tough situation the Korean MMO industry is faced with.
http://news.mmosite.com/content/q/2012-03-...he_next_1.shtmldid you played Iris online? several months after the Korean server closed down, Iris receive its new update with 5 new maps, 2 new dungeons, level cap increase (which is higher than last level cap on korean server), also new equipments and mounts, and as GM said, Iris will receive another update very soon which is contains new feature such as pet, and also increased level cap which is come with new maps, dungeons, mobs, and equipments. well if you said that is not major. i dont know what they need to put into the game to make a real major updates. the closed down was only Korean game server, the developer company are still operating and continue the updates.
