Fame > R8 V10

GTR
-fast
-'cheap'
-sound like a vacuum cleaner
-2+2 seats

R8
-slower
-more expensive
-sexy as hell
-v8 sounds vroom vroom

if me, i would pick R8 over GTR. but if i have small kids ill go for the gtr.

Both the GT-R and R8 are two very different machines. Like everyone has said already, for best bang for buck, not many comes as close as the GT-R. It is incredibly fast; faster in fact than most Ferraris or Lambos... on track. On the road, performance is close between the R8 and GT-R and it would really depend on what you are looking for.

Do you do more track time, than you would grocery? If so, get a GT-R. It will be the more rewarding car of the two. Me, I don't go on track so I'd take the R8. For me, looks are just as important as performance, and the R8 stands out a lot more than the 'Zilla.

Just my 2 cents.

Gtr maintainence much cheaper compared to r8.

R8 maintainence is da same as ferrari

If you can afford both cars, don't mention about maintenance

For me, I am more towards performance so the GTR is the one I will get

For the R8, I will definitely go for the V10 version instead of the V8

Read more. GTR is also hand assembled.

To buyer, a GTR is a no brainer. More aftermarket parts here. R8 tuning stuff is pretty limited. That is if you are going to have fun with it. But if you just want something that u buy and go, either car would work. I don't think anyone who owns either have time to work out at Sepang. So in the end both are almost the same. But for looks R8 is the better looking one.

r8 , the v8 sound. the v8 engine shape and can be seen behind the glass.

400k+ is recond GTR 2008 premium model

Like what Jeremy Clarkson say, both car are comfortable and good in performance. But definitely GTR R35 will beat Audi R8 V8 version, it is tested and GTR R35 beats quite a lot of super car right there.

For me I will still go for Audi R8 instead, love the design and the sound.

If i have the proper, I would get R8. Much nicer. Perhaps GTR is faster, but

at my place, there is no need to drive that fast anyway. It is all about the

looks. So handsome

And the design is so futuristic, won't get outdated so fast.
