If want play 3d Bluray , Bitstream sound.. recommend V12+ Realtek 1186 model.

all spec same. got wifi also.

V12+ can mount 3.5" hdd inside. BIG!!!!

Can the v12+wifi do the "Recommend Online Stream" you mentioned in the 1st post?
Or only the minix can do that?

and both of them come with build-in WiFi right?

minix better. use ARM A8 hardware , better android performance.


V12+ (realtek 1186) use mips. android part weak. but own local playback (BD Bluray, Bitstream sound 7.1) perfect !!

Hi Yangxi,
Any idea when you have ICS player with coaxial/optical media player (something like v12). The miniX i cannot use coz the tv cannot output coaxial/optical. My amp is rather old.

if want good playback feature. stick to Realtek chipset.



ICS player with coaxial/optical media player

Amlogic chip (arm a9) can do this.. but only DTS 5.1 can passthru.. (not dtshd,dolby,aac) , video decode weak than A10.

Allwinner A10 (arm a8) , I can't find with coaxia/optical design.

Can you pm me the best price for the V12+ send to sunway. Is the V12+ stable?
Also may i know what is included in the package.

My setup will be as per below.
1) Media player to TV (HDMI)
2) Coaxial/ Optical for audio. I have a dts decoder to decode the digital signal (5.1) - old logitech z-680
Can the V12 + do the above? I am scared after I purchase the player only come out with stereo sound only.

Does it support skype? I have a usb camera and mic. Planning to download via bittorent and preferably can conference coz subscribe to maxis fibre.
