Hi yangxi, how is network streaming over LAN on the V13? Also, can the interface be in English? Also is there any lag on the interface? I played with a few players in the market (K-World) and it's quite slow.

Do you hv any media player that has easy and simple menu navigation for old folk?
My parents know how to operate the common DVD player, but not my current media player.
I'm thinking to get a simpler one for them.

What are the differences between V12 and V13? Can I upgrade the android to the latest version? V13 support torrent?

V13 got wifi builtin , but can't mount 3.5" hdd inside.

android cannot update. still old 2.3version. Realtek android part weak.


if u want better android performance. suggest buy another model MINIX (arm cortex )

Any idea when you will have for media player running ICS with functionality like v12? I would like to have coaxial/ optical output and also torrent from the player. MINIX do not have that. Thank you.

Importantly I would like to run torrent download, so no need to on pc... and used as a file/media player..The coaxial and optical will be used to connect my old speaker which does not support HDMI. If do not have slot for 3.5" hard disk also ok since i can always get a portable 2.5" hdd. Thank you.

Yangxi! Got the mini X today .... thanks for the quick delivery !! I have opened and tested it for 5 minutes now (Now still running PPS for my parents hehe) and gotta say I'm impressed with the WIFI speed although it stated just N ...

I got 2 question for you:

1) Despite running only 5-10 minutes .. the unit is SUPER HOT ! Will it burst since it's made in china ? =.= ..... any max time that we can open this thing?
2) When running PPS, I notice the setting bar at the bottom (Back, home, multitask, volume) is still visible .. anyway to hide it?

The PPS can watch HK dramas/series? Thank you.

I believe no PPS (Be it desktop or mobile version) can watch HK drama/series anymore bro .... you need to crack it somehow ... which I have no idea since I can't read chinese ...
